We had a good experience buying this car except for the price. More on that later. Derrick was very helpful in setting us for test drives in 2 models. This was the first time I've take a test drive without someone from the dealership with us. We even took one model home to check if it would fit in our garage. The car we selected was available for same day delivery. A first for us. Once we signed all the necessary papers. We were told to come back in 3 hours which gave us time to get lunch and a check. I could have skipped the 1.5 hours of extra warranty marketing. We did purchase one extra warranty. After completing all the paperwork, Derrick showed us some of the features of the car. Especially the use of the FOB which was new to use. I was also shown how to connect my phone to car. He encouraged us to contact him with any questions which I will probably do. For the previous 2 cars we got from Cardinal Honda, we paid less than the MSRP. In fact we got a multiple car purchase discount on our second car. For this car, we paid 8% over the MSRP. With this price, I would normally walk out; but, we needed a car. Sadly this is not the Cardinal Honda, I remember. Maybe this is a hangover from COVID. The situation may get better in a few years when supplies improve. More
