I've been a customer since 2012, both buying and selling. My purchase this time went well but selling my car didn't go well. I was offered $11k on paper. At the site, I was told there were transmission conce My purchase this time went well but selling my car didn't go well. I was offered $11k on paper. At the site, I was told there were transmission concerns and the new offer was $9k. I called my Acura service center and they said it was unlikely there was an issue if there was no check engine light on and they had previously done some work. They also said that shifting and how it's done in that year car is a known issue for that type of transmission. I shared that with the manager and he didn't budge. So I sold the car. But then just days later it's on the lot for $16,000. When I inquired as to what happened with the transmission concern and what work they did on it to fix it, I did not receive an answer. Either there was an issue or not. And if there wasn't a $2,000 transmission issue, that money should have been mine. More
