I like CarMax and have had great experiences in the past. The latest experience with Bakersfield CarMax was frustrating and overly time consuming. Staff were inattentive, inefficient and lacked ownership o The latest experience with Bakersfield CarMax was frustrating and overly time consuming. Staff were inattentive, inefficient and lacked ownership of their work. My purchase took several visits (look at cars on the lot, order car shipped in, test drive cars, buy car) and each visit was a “start over” with our file and information. Each was 3 hours minimum even for “express” Each blamed the previous for not setting up our file and/or appointment correctly. Finally we got the attention of the on site manager who owned their issues, helped us, and made us feel valued. More
