Very easy, no hassle transaction. Took my trade in without any issues. Now I’m driving a luxury vehicle that came with the remainder of a warranty. Would shop here again. I've talked to Corp. about this dealer and the sale of a car that had a no accident Experian rating and a Carfax rating that came to me after the sale thorough Navy Feder about this dealer and the sale of a car that had a no accident Experian rating and a Carfax rating that came to me after the sale thorough Navy Federal that stated there was an accident. In fact the accident happened at the Toyota dealer prior to the first sale! This Carmax dealer stated Carmax doesn't really stand behind the no accident guarantee even if it comes up and is part of the sale, just flood, title and the like. I have an email I wanted to send Corp., but was redirected back to the dealer. I gave then 3 star because they gave me a small token (1 car payment), as a bone). I would have given a 2 star because of how they acted. I truly thought that Carmax was better than the used car norm. Carmax has lost a customer I'm afraid. More
I came in to purchase a replacement vehicle as the first car I purchased from carmax was in an accident and marked a total loss. I told Eddy the salesman this when we started and told him a payment was issu car I purchased from carmax was in an accident and marked a total loss. I told Eddy the salesman this when we started and told him a payment was issued to carmax from GEICO and explained the situation and asked what we needed to do. I had assumed since I told him that he would’ve looked into it but he did not. He set me up in a new car and did nothing to close the old car out. I was just charged my regular monthly payment from the totaled car. Who has an extra $470 to spare on something they don’t even have access to anymore. He talked too much and did not make sure things were taken care of. He didn’t take this seriously and saw us as just a new sale. I’ve tried to contact him since and have not been able to get ahold of him since. This is poor customer service and extremely disappointing as I’ve been a loyal customer for 15 years and 3 cars. This makes me not want to do business or tell others not to and save some money and time. When I called the business office to talk and see what I had to do to get the gap claim started that hadn’t been. When talking to the girl, there was so much background noise I could not hear her. I kept asking her to speak up because I couldn’t hear what she was telling me to do. It was the most frustrating interaction and not to nitpick but it was already frustrating to begin with but this was just the final straw. This was a terrible experience from the start and it’s still not over. I just want one car payment for the only car I’m driving. I counted on someone who knows what they’re talking about helping me as I don’t. Eddy Baaklini was the salesman I worked with. More
