Impossible to get a service appointment by web site (all appointments taken) or phone (nobody answers, phone mail messages not returned). I had to drive out and talk to the service desk in person to get an appointments taken) or phone (nobody answers, phone mail messages not returned). I had to drive out and talk to the service desk in person to get an appointment. When my 15000 mile check up was complete, they did not offer to wash my car and they had not measured my tires or brakes for wear. I am very unhappy I bought this car. As I go deeper in this review you require the name of the person in the service department I worked with. I don't know and I don't think your reviewers should be required to do this. More
The dealership is not to blame, but I would never purchase another Kia because of the way Kia screwed me when my key stopped working about 5 years ago. I purchased my 2013 Soul new and have had it re purchase another Kia because of the way Kia screwed me when my key stopped working about 5 years ago. I purchased my 2013 Soul new and have had it regularly serviced. It has 86,000 miles on it and has been dependable. Kia wants to charge me more than $300 to replace and program a key that never should have stopped working. It just basically came apart. It reminds me of why the American auto industry declined-designed obsolescence. More
Had a poor experience during my last service. Very disappointed with the service & how long it took. Scheduled my appointment on 4/28 for 6/7 at 11am, as that is how far out they were booked. Upo Very disappointed with the service & how long it took. Scheduled my appointment on 4/28 for 6/7 at 11am, as that is how far out they were booked. Upon arrival, they said they spoke with me the day prior, which was not accurate. Did not have my set appointment in their system (had to show my email conformation) and with that was told 2-3 hours for an oil change (even after showing email conformation of set appointment)! Granted there were a couple recalls but I insisted on scheduling those at a later date as I had 2 children with me, one being an infant. I luckily had my parents with me for use of an extra vehicle and to help keep busy. After doing some running around and miscellaneous driving around we went back to check on timing, mind you after 2.5 hours of my vehicle being there we never received a courtesy call for updates, I had to call and follow up. Anyways, after stopping in, we were told another 2 hours! I could not sit in there with 2 children for an additional 2 hours. So I decided to just go home and wait. I was about 5 minutes from home and was called and told it would be done in 20 minutes. How do you go from 2 hours to 20 minutes!? I am new home at this point and they're wondering when I can make it in to get my vehicle. They have not courtesy vehicles to offer customers nor do they have anyone that would bring the car to you. I had them offer to pick me up, but again, I have 2 small children that would've had to come along too. I was still in correspondence with the service department after 5pm! From 11am, my scheduled appointment, to after 5pm. I even called to speak with rue so called service manager, Chris and to this day (6/12) have yet to receive a call back. This should have never taken this long. Very disappointed in how the service was let alone how long this took. I am now going to have my vehicle service else where. More
