I had both good and bad experiences when I purchased a used car in May 2024. I got a car I like, and the people on staff were pleasant. I saw a line item called Special Benefit Package priced at $598. I asked the person who printed the contract what that was, he said he didn't know. Three months after I bought the car, I received a booklet in the mail describing some wonderful benefits of the Package. When I called the company who sent the booklet, they looked up my info and told me all it covered was towing, it only lasts 18 months, I had to pay for towing and they would consider whether to reimburse me. This is USELESS. I already have AAA, they do not charge $600 for 1 year of towing membership. MAKE SURE THEY GO OVER EVERY LINE ITEM ON THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY IN ONE OF THEIR VEHICLES. It also took them over 2 months to repair a defect in the vehicle, that I had pointed out to the salesman when I took delivery on the vehicle. They will pull anything they can if you don't call them on the carpet for every line item. More
