Do not buy a car here. Shady dealership. I recently decided to inquire about a used car that I saw from www.cargurus.com. I saw a Hyundai Elantra 2013, and then inquired about it, and it redi I recently decided to inquire about a used car that I saw from www.cargurus.com. I saw a Hyundai Elantra 2013, and then inquired about it, and it redirected me to www.carpros.hyudai.com. I did my research about the car, computations, and everything that I needed to know (about the car), and decided to know more about it. Car salesman "Russ" called me, and asked questions about my background, credit, and the usual questions. I answered all of his inquiries, and specifically told him to get all the information that he needed from me prior to a personal visit, as I don't want to waste both of our time. He even asked me what car I'm interested in, then I became a little skeptic as to why he didn't know the car that I'm inquiring about because I did everything correctly on the website. We scheduled to meet up next week when we spoke on the phone, we agreed on a time and date. After a few minutes of talking to each other, he then called me back several times that day, asking me if I can make a $1000 deposit to reserve the car. In my mind, "What???" you don't even know if I would like the car and you wanted me to pay upfront $1000. So I declined, and the call ended. Then again he called back and insisted on having me go there tomorrow, despite having agreed a scheduled date of meet up next week. He was pushy, and at some point felt that I was being harassed, but I being an understanding person, gave him the benefit of the doubt. And so I came the next day, and he was surprised to see me actually go there. It's like he wasn't expecting me to go there, seemed like a scheme that they do to each and every customer. We talked and discussed about the car that I'm interested in, and when I told the car that I wanted, he then said that it wasn't available anymore, though it was still on the website. What a shady salesman, or can also be a shady dealership. So again I gave him, them, the benefit of the doubt. So he then offered me the Elantra 2015 model. Gave me a price quote, it was pricey considering the mileage of the car, but still I went for it, given the limited credit information that I have. I told him my story, and he knew all about it prior to me going there. And so the transaction was successful, and I was able to drive home the car, and traded my old and reliable Nissan Sentra. During the transaction, I had a lot of skepticism about the transaction, salesman “Russ” informed me that engine warranty is 300,000 miles, I found it a little too much, but I trusted his word. When the finance manager was explaining my contracts and warranty to me, he said its only 100,000, which I wasn’t so surprised because its normal. Maybe the salesman “Russ” was just trying to test me active listening skills or whatsoever. Drove the car home, and felt relieved that I wouldn’t have to spend time checking out car websites every now and then, since my search was over. A few days later, the finance manager of the dealership, named “Maksim”, told me that he wanted a copy of my Social ID, and forcefully asked me to come and visit the dealership, as I have a problem with my loan. I told him that I can’t go since I was sleeping as I have work that night. I still managed to send him a copy of my Social ID, a copy of the insurance policy that I got from State Farm insurance, and my 2015 screenshot of my tax through H&R block. He sent me a text message saying that the loan was not approved exactly as the contract was written. So again, I’m just thinking that they would get more money from me at this point, and use my limited credit information against me. In the contract they stipulated 8.99% APR, which they said that is normal for first time buyers. We are schedule to meet up again on Friday as the finance manager “Maksim” is on days off. Right now I totally lost confidence in the dealership, instead of them helping out their customers, it seemed like they wanted to rip off first time buyers. The entire experience to me was shady. Finance manager "Maksim" said that he has a great option for me, but since I already lost confidence, I also told him that I’m happy to return the car if needed. More

Our salesperson wasn't pushy at all and didn't try to play any of the normal "dealership games": we showed her the listed online price for the car and actually got it for a little less. I would not hesitate to buy our next car from Car Pros Renton. More
