Lies...lies Drove down to the Hollywood location after being told numerous times via text and phone calls that the cars were there!! I also called again right before leaving my house since I did not want to drive 1 whole hour for nothing, and again I was assured that the cars were there... When I arrived I was told that the first car of my choice was on hold and that someone made a down payment on it and the other car wasn't available any longer!! Well, needless to say that I'm absolutely Furious... Wasting 3 hours of my Sunday is not what I call a fun day!! LONG READ BUT PLEASE READ TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM THESE xxxxx Please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT finance from this business! They are a SCAM! Don't get screwed like us, please read this so you can understand Please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT finance from this business! They are a SCAM! Don't get screwed like us, please read this so you can understand how shady and dirty these people are. It's kind of long, but if we can help another person from being screwed then it's worth the read! A friend and I went in on a weekend to the one located in Hollywood, they had the car she was looking for, test drove it and they immediately took it to the side to get it "cleaned". Given no opportunity to check the car out, come to later find out all tires needed to be replaced as they were bald and God knows what other technical problems it can have (obviously our fault but they do a good job distracting you). They take you into a room and show you what they can "do for you", after some negotiation and a trade in my friend was using, we came to a price that fit her budget, basically $250 a month for I think 6 years and 6% interest rate for a 2018 used car- listed almost at $13K, they stated in 1 year you can call them and they will "help" you refinance the car so you can pay an even lower rate (complete xx). They trick you into telling you that all their cars come with a LIFE-time warranty (ends up being with another SCAM company that doesn't actually honor this) but they tell you this to real you in and think you're getting such a great deal. We were in this place literally for 5+ hours at this point, get sent into another room with the paper work. Being exhausted and just casually reading through the paper work while being distracted by them my friend signed it, we noticed the price had gone up to like $16K but assumed it was due to title, tag, etc. After signing she asked who the loan was going to be with, they stated they are working to see if they can get a better "deal" through another bank and we could wait (but they had another family coming in to sign and can be seen after them) or they can call us later and let us know. We wanted to wait but at this point it has been 6+ hours since being there so we asked they call us to let us know, they never did call us that day (checking the paper work the next day with a clear head we realized the price was actually $23K but minus the $4K down payment was $19K we would be financing, they are very sneaky and only place these numbers in a certain section that you can miss if you aren't paying very close attention). Fast forward a few days later, we get a text from this guy Juan who was helping us look for the car and said we needed to come in to sign the paper work for the bank, I asked him why? When we already signed paper work? He Said "oh, because it's with a different bank than the original paper work". We made an appt with the finance department and arrive to sign and to our surprise they not only gave us a higher interest rate of 10% but now making us pay $300 a month!!!! I was PISSED and told them we are not signing that as that was NOT the deal we made, they said the manager Gil had already left for the day and they would call him, the guy stepped out and came back saying Gil will run some more numbers for us tomorrow, blah blah blah, bullsh** bullsh** and then the guy says that in 6 months they can help us refinance the vehicle, I told him I am not counting on that and this was very disrespectful of them. He told me Gil would call me the next day, in which he never did. I ended up having to call 4 days later to see what the xxxx was going on, Gil and the finance guy Mike asked we come in the next day to "discuss". So in the mean time I decided to go to yelp to check their reviews, it even gives you a warning on Yelp that they have had an unusual amount of "positive" review from the same IP address. This is where I saw all the stories and terrible reviews for this place, I was so livid at the stories people wrote. Come to find out the paper work they had us sign initially which we thought was the actual contract stated we forfeit our deposit, so basically if we don't want to sign the new ACTUAL contract they keep our $4000!!! They are xxxx bags that tie you down and are screwed either way you go. Eventually we signed the new contract (either way we went we lose either our deposit or lose because we are paying too much for the car) and in total we are paying close to $26K for a car that was originally shown for at $13K. When we spoke with Gil all he could say was "well, that is how it is" when I called them out on their bullsh**, as I said our hands were tied, they lied about the monthly price and interest rate. They make you sign things before even confirming with the bank and then blind side you with a higher monthly payment and interest rate. I also read reviews about how they tell some people they must put 50% down payment and while we were waiting to sign their bullsh** contract witnessed this as the salesman was telling a customer they needed to put down 50%. So please don't be dumb like us and DO NOT go to this dealership! More
