They sold me a 2017 Ford Fusion 26k- 33k miles 1st year was awesome. 0 problems the 2nd year had tons of recalls and issues had to have it towed 3 times to the dealership they held on to my car for over a was awesome. 0 problems the 2nd year had tons of recalls and issues had to have it towed 3 times to the dealership they held on to my car for over a month on one recall repair. They didn't completely cover the rental car I had to pay out of pocket or go without a car. October 2022, the transmission completely went out and told me it was out of warranty for mileage. They gave me a 10k quote for a new transmission knowing I still owe 10k on the car as well as Not relizing that in 2021 they had already given me a 7k quote for the same work when my car was still in warranty when Ihad the battery replaced. I will be requesting all documentation of work for this car and getting a lemon law lawyer. Dont waste your money with these crooks. Corporate won't help either. Lawyer is the only way to end the xxxx this company has put me through the last year and a half. More

She updated me on every step of the repairs. on a few services that I have had performed at the dealership. I had not been a dealership service oriented customer in the past. But, the quality service that they have offered me has made me a believer in taking your vehicle to the dealership for service. They have been fair with their pricing and quick on their turn around on getting the jobs completed. I highly recommend Capitol Ford Service for any automotive repair that you need. They will get it done and done right, with a friendly attitude included. This review is from the heart and truthful. More

On 9/03/21 C BUYER BEWARE**** For context, I experienced ALL of this while carting around my 3 MONTH OLD, and breastfeeding her every 2 hours. On 9/03/21 Capitol Ford sold me a 2014 White Subaru Forester LTE with TWO broken rear wheel bearings and a malfunctioning safety alert system. Thank god for their 3 day trial period- we were able to return the car, however if you would like to know the details of how negligent this particular DGDG dealership is, please read on. We test drove the car with a salesman named Josh Schmidt- who repeatedly pressured us by saying he had “a lot of interest in this car” and “several appointments to view the car” that day, even though we spent most of the day at the dealership and never saw anyone else who wanted to test drive the car. During the test drive I heard a very loud humming from the rear of the car, it increased in pitch the faster we went. My husband and I both thought, “huh that’s weird…” but we don’t know a lot about cars, so we decided to TRUST THE DEALERSHIP that it must have just been a loud and powerful engine. When I came back from the drive, I told Josh, “Hey, the engine sounded kinda weird… like maybe it needed to downshift but couldn’t…?” and he simply responded with “huh weird.” and then said that this car was going to move fast and we should really act on it if we are interested. Needless to say, we unfortunately bought the car, and as I was driving it off the lot, the tire pressure gauge light came on. I turned around, had Josh and the mechanic look at it. He brought it back “fixed” and then when I pulled it into the driveway of my house, it turned back on. I called him immediately and he said “Oh that will happen with cars sometimes, you have to just keep driving it and it will turn off eventually.”. So my husband and I were super sketched out after that. I did some googling on the sound we heard and saw that it was a rear wheel bearing rusting issue. The next day, we told Stephen Minchell, a sales manager, that we would only feel comfortable keeping the car if we were able to bring it to a Subaru DGDG dealership to have it inspected (as their guys repeatedly told us they didn’t know a lot about Subaru’s however this car in particular was a trade in from the other sales manager Joseph Davis’s friend…). Stephen Minchell resisted helping us get an appointment at the Subaru dealership, citing that “it’s a holiday weekend, I’m not sure what their hours are”. This is LABOR DAY WEEKEND. A weekend famously centered around buying a new car. Eventually we took it to the Subaru dealership to get it looked at. Keep in mind, I am doing this ON MY TIME, with my 3 MONTH OLD. The mechanic that drove it with me immediately knew it was an issue with the wheel bearings, and that the alert system needed to be reprogrammed in order to accurately warn me of system issues. Stephen Minchell told us “that’s what you get when you buy a 7 year old car”, and he said “we aren’t perfect and sometimes we make mistakes”. He refused to take any $$ on the over total and did not acknowledge our needs as the customer to repair trust. I explained that I would be willing to walk away with the car now if he #1 fixed the issues, and #2 took AT LEAST 2k off the price we paid considering our time and effort and distrust that occurred. He refused, and said the best he could do was $500. Long story short- the men (and I mean LITERALLY only men) that inhabit the sales floor of Capitol Ford are distrustworthy, they will manipulate and pressure you as a customer, they are inconsiderate and they sold me a car that was so clearly broken that I am not sure they ever did a mechanical diagnostic on it. I will never buy a car from Capitol Ford, and I did not feel safe or seen there as a woman and as a consumer. As a (somewhat) unrelated note, about 80% of the employees on the sales floor either took off their mask to literally yell across the room, had it under their nose the entire time, or had it beneath their chin including Ryan Abbasinia, Oscar Blanco, Howard Robertson and Dale Kryst. I had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. I was coming from a long distance for a specific car that I wanted to purchase. Josh was the salesperson, who I spoke with over the telephone. He also was coming from a long distance for a specific car that I wanted to purchase. Josh was the salesperson, who I spoke with over the telephone. He also helped me via email and text message. By the time I got to the dealership, I was already pre-approved. All I needed to do was sign the paperwork for the car and for the financing. I was out of the dealership, in my new car, in under an hour. More
Thank you to the Service Technician Jose for outstanding service when I came in for an emergency door latch replacement. Jose was kind, patient, knowledgeable and provide more service than one could imagine service when I came in for an emergency door latch replacement. Jose was kind, patient, knowledgeable and provide more service than one could imagine . The manager of the Service Dept, Ron Jones was also incredible. First of all, he is thorough and found out that a previous service center had not done any of the repair work that they told me they had done. He then scheduled me into a busy day at Capitol Ford. Finally, the mechanic, Hai, worked all day fixing all 4 of my door latches. I appreciate the expertise, kindness, patience, and integrity of this team at Capitol Ford. Why would I take my car any place else? Thank you Capitol Ford for the Service Dept members Ron Jones, Jose and Hai. Amazing service! More

Rick made the I want to give a shout out to Rick Simpson and his team. I bought a certified Ford from them recently and it was a pleasant experience. Rick made the buying process easy, fast and smooth. But it was his service after the sale that gets him accolades and props. Too many salespeople quit servicing their customers as soon as the sale is completed. Not Rick, he went out of his way to get service work done for me even if it was not written into the warranty. Great job Rick! You made me a happy car buyer and DGDG should be proud to have you on their team. I know I will tell people that your team is professional, reliable and trustworthy. Something we need more of in the business world today. Ken F More
Horrible service center I do not usually right reviews but this is my third time using this service department and I am over it. Every time has been worst than the last. We I do not usually right reviews but this is my third time using this service department and I am over it. Every time has been worst than the last. Went in for a recall notice from Ford. I brought the notice with me and they said when they pull my vehicle up in there system and the recall does not show up. I pulled up the Ford website on my phone and typed in my VIN and the recall popped right up. There answer to me was there is nothing they can do if it doesn't show in their system so Bye. I then get a hold of a Ford rep on the phone and there advise is to go to a different dealer. I will say there are a lot more details to this story in regards to the recall but I'm just summarizing. Not to mention I showed up at 2pm, not one car in the service area and it took them almost 20 min to great me. More

Abigail is fairly new, Worst experience with this location EVER! At first it was going well. My car was having issues and needed to be looked at ASAP. Abigail is fairly new, but tried her best to keep me updated with what was going on. I really was okay with how things were going. Then, I had questions and wanted more information and again, she tried her best to provide it. I went in randomly on her day off and spoke to Sarah. Sarah started off friendly, but by the end, she seemed annoyed with the questions my bf was asking about my car just to get things clarified. I understand that she wasn't in charge of mt car, but she works there and at least could've tried to help. From the beginning, Abigail mentioned my motor mount needing to be replaced and said it was covered under warranty. After speaking to Sarah who also said it was in my car's paper work about it being covered, when Abigail responds back to me on Friday, she says she spoke to her manager and all of a sudden that wasn't covered. Wouldn't you check first with your manager to see if it was covered first BEFORE telling the customer it was? This place is the worst and DO NOT bring your car to get serviced here regardless of how convenient the location is. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to not come here More
