Transmission replacement I took my Subaru Outback to Capital Subaru because it was having transmission issues. They determined that the transmission had to be replaced. And al I took my Subaru Outback to Capital Subaru because it was having transmission issues. They determined that the transmission had to be replaced. And although my mileage was out of warranty, Subaru of America did replace it for free. The service advisor, Ty Williams, was fantastic. He was very thorough and explained each step in the process. It was definitely a positive experience. More
Parts were left off. While in the end, everything was taken care of, the fact that parts were left off during the work on my automobile is totally unacceptable. My car was While in the end, everything was taken care of, the fact that parts were left off during the work on my automobile is totally unacceptable. My car was brought in and diagnosed with a faulty throttle body. When I picked the car up, there was a massive boost leak caused by a damaged seal on the throttle body hose. Additionally, the bolt that holds the blow off valve hose in place was missing. These are mistakes that not even the most inexperienced mechanic should make. I appreciate that everything was taken care of but these type of mistakes should never have happened to start with. The damaged seal apart, leaving off the bolt for the blow off hose is beyond unacceptable. I cannot in good conscience recommend Capitol Subaru service department. Amanda and the other service staff were pleasant and courteous. More
