I fell in love with a Forester and put it on hold but promised my husband I would test drive other cars. After long negotiations with my husband and taking the car off hold, we agreed on the Forester. However, we wanted to go through our credit union for financing. I called Bill, the finance manager, and he said that they go through the same credit union. Luckily, it was still available (there were minimal cars available as they kept selling). It came time to find my title to my trade in. I spent an hour looking for it and half hour in line at the DMV. I was frustrated and called Bill, he told me that he would take care of it all just come and get my new car. In addition, when I went to get my car, Bill was able to finance me through my credit union at a cheaper rate! Bill and Gary made a potentially difficult situation into an awe striking relieving transaction. More
Free state inspection? I went to have my free inspection and was told everything was fine. I noticed after the inspection a grinding noise with braking. I called the service I went to have my free inspection and was told everything was fine. I noticed after the inspection a grinding noise with braking. I called the service department and took the car back ten days later. I was then told I know need back brakes and the cost would be $380.00. I expressed my amazement that this was not picked up on inspection. I took the car to another dealer and the brakes were not just marginal but basically no pads left! I had the brakes replaced for $305 and I was not a regular customer there as I had been @ Ed Reily's, where I had purchased my car. Reily's never offered a discount for my inconvenience or for their incompetance in inspecting. More

I took it down the road to concord collision center and got a 4 wheel alignment for under $80 and they told me it needed nothing.... the car passed inspection at a different mechanic shop 2 weeks prior. they basically charged me $45 to take 2 hours of my time and tell me they wouldn't align my car without new tie rods and other parts that checked out fine at 2 other places.... that service manager is a crook (and has a fairly rude/condencending personality complaining about what they scheduled that day and such)..... i feel like they tried to take advantage of me, a 7 time Subaru owner More
Found the best priced model of exactly what I wanted in a 100 mile radius, managed a long distance deal with Fred, everything was exactly as he said with the vehicle, no surprise charges, everything was exac 100 mile radius, managed a long distance deal with Fred, everything was exactly as he said with the vehicle, no surprise charges, everything was exactly as Bill said with the paperwork, and he was able to beat my Credit Union's finance rate. They delivered the vehicle to me, best price, easiest car purchase I've ever made, the drive up to them was worth it as it saved me thousands of dollars. More
Avoid this dealership at all cost. This is the worst dealership I have ever been in. I dealt with Kent in service. He is supposedly the service manager but he has no idea what he is talking about. The p dealership I have ever been in. I dealt with Kent in service. He is supposedly the service manager but he has no idea what he is talking about. The pricing that he gave me changed 4 different times but the repairs did not. It was always the same repair but prices kept changing. Everytime I tried to speak with him regarding the repairs and a price he was evasive. That was when I could reach him. Not sure if he thought that he could put the screws to a women. The other people in service were clueless. I even spoke to a person in parts at one point and he was just rude as I was trying to get an idea of what the price of the part for the repair was going to be since I could not get a straight answer from Kent. The was completed and the repair is fine. Thankfully the mechinic knew what he was doing. Sadly I would never return because of the run around and awful customer service. The WORST dealership I have ever been in PERIOD! More
On the morning of November 26, 2013 I set out to purchase a new vehicle that would meet the criteria I was seeking. My first experience in buying this car was finding the perfect match at a Concord, NH Subar a new vehicle that would meet the criteria I was seeking. My first experience in buying this car was finding the perfect match at a Concord, NH Subaru dealership. I went into the dealership to test drive the vehicle of my dreams, only to discover that it had 40,000 miles on it and not the advertised 26,000. I explained to the staff how upsetting it was and I was told that sometimes things aren’t updated on the website. They weren’t willing to lower the price on the vehicle and said I could take it or leave it. I went home and did some more research and found another car at the Concord lot as well as one at Manchester Subaru. I called Manchester Subaru and set up a time for a test drive that afternoon. I left home and went to the Concord dealer to try and see if we could work out a deal prior to me taking my business elsewhere. I was met with much difficulty. They offered me $18,000 for my trade even though it is valued at $21,000. They were willing to give me more for my trade but were unwilling to lower the price on the car I wanted. As I was walking out the door I mentioned that I was on my way to Manchester and they were going to give me a better deal and a better match on value for my trade. The salesman chased me out the door arguing with me on why I couldn’t be telling the truth. He told me to go on and go to Manchester and I’ll get the same answers that I got there. I felt attacked and have never been spoken to so rudely in an establishment that I was trying to take my business to. After I left the Concord dealer I drove to Manchester where I was greeted by Matt Knezevic. He greeted me with a warm smile and a great attitude. He had the car waiting for me that I called about. He took me for a test drive and I fell in love with the car. He made me laugh throughout the whole process and I felt much more comfortable than I did in Concord. At the end of the day I purchased the car for a little less than they were asking and I got exactly what I wanted to get out of my trade. A day that started out as my worst buying experience turned into my best. I am truly thankful for all the work Matt put into the deal so I could get the car I needed. I will always bring my business to Manchester from now on even though my family has purchased 5 vehicles in Concord. I will encourage them all to take their business to a place where they will be respected and treated like a customer instead of a nuisance. So I say thank you to Matt and Manchester Subaru for the incredible buying experience. You turned a really bad day into an awesome day. I can’t wait to do business again someday. More
After shopping for a used car for several weeks I finally stopped at Ed Reilly Subaru. I had the best experience as far as having a friendly sales person, who listened to my needs and worked fairly within m stopped at Ed Reilly Subaru. I had the best experience as far as having a friendly sales person, who listened to my needs and worked fairly within my budget. I felt as though I was working with a GOOD old fashioned car dealership from the begginning. They never scoffed at the price bracket I was in, and I drove away with a FANTASTIC Subaru Outback in amazing used condition. And happilly I can report that when put through an intense inspection by my mecahnic (Northwood Garage) they came back and congratulated me on my OUTSTANDING purchase. I could not be happier and would recommened not only the dealership but request Bob Incoa he was great to work with and will have future business from myself and my extended family and friends. More
We just purchased a new 2012 Outback after looking at several other vehicles. The entire sales process was easy and very professional. Gary Wadsworth, our salesperson, was a pleasure to work with and all several other vehicles. The entire sales process was easy and very professional. Gary Wadsworth, our salesperson, was a pleasure to work with and allowed us to take the car for a few hours to see how it handled, etc. They were very competitive on the price and added extra items(winter mats,etc.). I highly recommend this dealer and Gary if you are looking for a new vehicle. More
I went to Ed Reilly to look for a new Forrester. I worked with Bob Joyce. I found him to be friendly, honest and laid back. He made me feel comfortable and was easy to negotiate with. I eventually chose to b with Bob Joyce. I found him to be friendly, honest and laid back. He made me feel comfortable and was easy to negotiate with. I eventually chose to buy a Honda instead but Bob made the whole experience positive. I especially appreciated that he respected me and my opinions when I first walked in by myself (as a woman) as some dealerships see women as an easy target. Even when I brought my husband in later, he spoke directly to me as the future purchaser of the car. I would recommend this dealership. A year and a half ago my husband bought a new Legacy from them and also enjoyed the process with this dealership. He has had good experiences with the service department as well. More
Great transaction, low pressure, Bob Joyce was great to work with. The car had a limited 30 day/1,000 mile warranty. We had a cooling problem at 32 days/1,700 miles, turned out to be a leaking head gaske work with. The car had a limited 30 day/1,000 mile warranty.
