Patrick, I'm sorry to hear you feel that way and I'm curious how you came to the conclusion that we were at fault. When you purchased the vehicle you performed multiple walk arounds and did not find any issues with it at that time and you were in possession of the vehicle for twelve days before noti cing said damage. You even had the opportunity to see the vehicle prior to the reconditioning and detail since it had been traded in two days before your visit. A carfax was provided by your salesperson which showed (and is still showing) that there had only been one previous owner and no damage had ever been reported. With all of that information wouldn't a possible scenario be that it had been damaged recently, perhaps in a parking lot at the store? I am sorry that you feel as if we deceived you in some fashion and that we rushed you into the process but you were given the option to sign up the following day after it had completed our intake process and yet you decided to move forward that evening. If you would like a copy of the carfax I would be happy to have one sent over to you and if I can be of any assistance please let me know.

@Capital Chevrolet, 1) Multiple walk arounds of the vehicle were not performed. In fact, a walk around was not performed until AFTER paperwork had been signed. You wouldn’t clean the filthy car until we started the process. We should have walked away then, but we’re trusting people. 2) I called days after the purchase to get records or photos of the car to compare to the damage I have. I have first hand knowledge that the Capital Motors’ policy is to catalog all damage on used vehicles so that people making damage claims later on can be countered! I was told you didn’t catalog anything in records or photos, which is definitely a load of bull. I suspect the damage was there and you don’t want to admit not disclosing it for fear of legal issues. 3) A Carfax report was not performed and provided to us. When I called to ask about the records, my sales person even said point blank that he hadn’t pulled a report because we didn’t ask for it. 4) I requested at least 3 times to sign paperwork the next day, when my trade-in vehicle would be there. You insisted we do the paperwork then. I even tried to leave a few times and you finance officer blocked doorways, begging to just give them 5 more minutes. They did everything short of physically restrain us to keep us there. Long story short, we are suckers and are too trusting of others. We should have walked away, but didn’t. We should have examined that car with a fine tooth comb, but didn’t (and you probably wouldn’t have let us). But it takes a real group of xxxxxxxx to be as dishonest as you are.
