We were working on a lease, they pulled my credit, received more than 3 calls from sellers and 2 calls form managers to negotiate the price of the car. When everything was ready, I get a call saying t received more than 3 calls from sellers and 2 calls form managers to negotiate the price of the car. When everything was ready, I get a call saying that they just sold the car even though my credit was pulled and that they couldn’t do anything further. The solution they gave was to wait 2 months, get the credit pulled again and see if something similar comes out. Don’t do business with them, not professional at all. More

We went to the car lot to simply look at trucks, but we left with a new one! We found the employees at Capital Chevrolet to be both professional and polite. Our salesperson went above and beyond in locatin left with a new one! We found the employees at Capital Chevrolet to be both professional and polite. Our salesperson went above and beyond in locating trucks for us on the lot. Communication from the sales manager and finance person was clear and to the point. Each of our questions were addressed to our satisfaction. There was no pressure during the entire process, and we did not feel rushed at all. We are completely satisfied with our truck purchase and would definitely visit Capital Chevrolet when looking for our next vehicle. More

The personal at the dealership were all friendly and willing to assist to make our time comfortable. There was never a time that we felt rushed and pressured in to buying during the our entire experience. This is one of the cleanest dealerships including floor space and restrooms. Our experience there was extremely positive on all levels!! If we ever buy another car, we will return to Capital Chevrolet! More
The mechanic was insulting; the service rep left me one message relaying that insult but leaving me at a loss as to what to do next. I called her and left messages but she never returned my calls. Because message relaying that insult but leaving me at a loss as to what to do next. I called her and left messages but she never returned my calls. Because I had a rental car, her refusal to answer my messages cost me money I wouldn't have had to pay if she had talked with me just once. More
We purchased a used truck at this dealership last week and have not been able to safely drive it since day 1 of getting it home. We knowingly paid substantially more than the truck was worth for a few rea and have not been able to safely drive it since day 1 of getting it home. We knowingly paid substantially more than the truck was worth for a few reasons including that they represented it as not needing anything, They represented that they inspected everything and that there were no issues. Driving home I noticed a 'clunk' in the front end. A puddle of coolant developed underneath it the very next morning. Brought it to a (different) local Chevrolet dealership and they quickly found the issue with a simple coolant pressure check. Leaking out the intake manifold. Quoted close to $1,200 to repair. The "clunk" is a loose shock on the front lower control arm. (How closely did Capital Chevrolet actually look at this before selling?) I called Capital Chevrolet-- they have no interest in standing behind what they sell. They said it's "AS IS" too bad. They claimed the truck must have overheated when I drove it home. It did not, and even if it did, that would indicate they sold me a truck with a problem. When I asked if they even did a coolant pressure check before selling it, the sales rep indicated and stated; "We would just be looking for problems at that point". --- Wasn't that what they claimed they were doing, or supposed to be doing when "inspecting" a vehicle before selling it?........ looking for problems? I am furious. We spent a fortune on a truck they claimed to have inspected thoroughly that I can't even safely use the day after getting it home. The response from Capital Chevrolet so far has been "tough luck" More
This was a very corrupt and unethical experience as there was a breach in contract that was not resolved. It is a very dishonorable practice to maliciously be deceitful about the capabilities the establishment, as I was led to believe the dealership could complete a wheel swap from my 2018 BMW X6 to the 2022 BMW X6 which was a condition based upon me buying the vehicle. On Saturday 20 Nov: I communicated very clearly and explained to the sale rep and the floor manager that the purchase of this vehicle depended on a wheel swap being accomplished. On Friday 26 Nov: I signed the contract and a "We Owe" document to perform the wheel swap given to me by a finance manager but once I realized the wheel swap had not been completed, I immediately requested that the vehicle be returned. The floor manager asked me to wait until Monday to resolve the issue. On Monday 29 Nov: I was informed by the floor manager that the wheel swap could not be completed. I was then told I could get new tires or buy my vehicle back. I then explained this was a breach in contract as the purchase of this vehicle depended solely on the completion of the wheel swap. On Tuesday 30 Nov: I went to the dealership to retrieve the vehicle but was told by the floor manager that the vehicle was not there and had been sold. This was a blatant lie as I drove past the vehicle on the way in and my bank still holds the title. Then the floor manager just bluntly tells me the vehicle will not be returned and became very dismissive. I cannot phantom nor comprehend why a dealership of this caliber would show such blatant disregard for a clear agreement signed in a “We Owe” document which clearly states a wheel swap (not offer new tires or offer to sell back my own vehicle) but a wheel swap which could not be completed. Therefore, I was purposely lied to by the floor manager about the capabilities of a wheel swap in order for me to purchase the vehicle. It is very unsettling how business was conducted here. Being an Army Officer, Paratrooper, and deployment veteran knowing your capabilities before attempting to execute a task is being competent at your job. More
Bought a $35,000 truck in July 2021. Washed it one time and found rust all over the bottom and frame. It was hidden from me on purchase. Took it for an estimate at Carolina Collisions where they quoted me and found rust all over the bottom and frame. It was hidden from me on purchase. Took it for an estimate at Carolina Collisions where they quoted me $11,600 worth of rust damage. Entire cab has to be replaced as it’s one piece, the entire frame is also rusted and was sprayed with a cheap black paint that is now chipping off and showing all the rust. Capital Chevrolet won’t pay for the repair and won’t work with me on a solution. Complete dealer fraud hiding this from a customer and not willing to make this right. 0/5 worst vehicle buying experience I’ve ever had. Pictures show the day I got it, you can’t see any rust because of the paint hiding in. Second picture is after 1 wash. Metal is so rusted and weak a hole showed up. Third picture is the estimate. More
