Came back two days la BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I visited this dealership the other week and saw a 2021 GMC Yukon Denali. Extremely nice truck. Came back two days later to make the purchase. This is where the transaction went downhill. Received an offer on my trade, negotiated and finally reached a reasonable offer. When arriving in the finance office, the finance manager made it seem like they had given me full value for my trade. She actually said, you’re in luck, they are giving you the full payoff for your trade. When looking over the buyers agreement found out that essentially what they did was gave me the full payoff for my trade but increased the amount of the vehicle. CROOKED!!!! I hesitated several times when signing the documents, however every time I pushed back…the finance manager would drop my interest rate to make the deal seem more attractive. She literally dropped my interest rate 3 times when I said I wasn’t sure about everything. After leaving the dealership I immediately felt buyers remorse. I knew I had done the wrong thing, by purchasing a vehicle from these people. I called the very next day on Saturday to see about canceling the sale and coming to pick up my vehicle that I traded in. The finance manager told me to call back on Monday after 12pm. At this point I hadn’t even put 100 miles on the new vehicle. I was willing to pay something, I just wanted to cancel the deal and get my old vehicle back,. I waited to Monday after 12pm and called back only to be told…they already sold my vehicle. I argued that point. The loan hadn’t even been funded. The finance manager and sales rep insisted that the vehicle had already been sold. Even told me that they sold it to a wholesaler. After fully thinking about this, the reason she told me to call back Monday after 12 was probably to send off the documents for my transaction. Two days later, I find my traded vehicle FOR SALE on their website with photos. These people are shady and are liars. Why not just be honest and say you cant take the car back. I purchase vehicles all the time and never have been treated like this. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! THEY WILL LIE TO YOU!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE FEELING THAT I HAVE!!!! More
Looked at vehicle on autotrader. The price is $22,000, but when yo scroll all the way to the bottom. It says with trade in. Stay away from dealerships like this. The first 3, I got “We couldn’t replicate the problem.” On the fourth, I provided multiple video’s to the service advisor and when I pulled into the service department, he even saw the check engine, check transmission, service 4wd, stabilitrac, etc…basically all the lights were going on and off. In addition to those, power steering would go out while driving, throttle would either barely go or rapidly accelerate and the doors would not unlock and vehicle would shift after being in park. This is by no means an exhaustive list. The service advisor, Morgan Gleason, saw the problems. I made the mistake of saying if I cant fix it, then I might have to trade it. Can’t pay $600 for a truck that doesn’t work most of the time. Several days after dropping it off, Morgan called and said even with the check engine light on, the truck passes all computer checks. Over the next couple of weeks, he called and said “the #2 tech in GM has looked at it and he has no clue what is happening or how to fix it.” He said they would call engineering to look at this. After engineering got involved, Morgan called and ask if I had plugged in any insurance devices or anything in the truck…which I had not. They were clueless as to the problem. He had no clue as what was causing the problem or how to fix it. Capital had the car for 3 weeks! I tried to get a loaner, but they would not provide. I inquired to GM Customer care on 8/13. On 8/14 Customer Care rep said she would submit paperwork for a rental. On 8/17 CC rep called and said no rental would be approved since there was no repairs made. I asked what is next because the Morgan said they had no clue how to fix the problem. Customer Care said they would probably buy the Truck back since it’s unsafe. 8/20 I called GM CC and she said the vehicle is ready to be picked up. No repairs made. No further action per the DMA (whoever that is). I asked for follow up calls from her boss. Nothing. I called Morgan @Capital that afternoon. No return phone call from him either. I had no choice but to trade into something that is safe and operable. I traded with Capital because they knew the history and I assumed they would work to fix it (the advisor told me to trade across the street because they would not see the history). I traded my Truck Saturday 8/22. On Tuesday 8/26 the Truck was taken for inspection (it failed) and on 8/27 it was offered for sale on the lot. My question, if you have a Truck for 3 weeks and cant fix it…..how can it be fixed and inspected 2 days later? Did you intentionally lie to me to get my truck OR did you just pass the problem on to the next customer?? On the Carfax, there is no mention of the electrical problems. A friend inquired from the Capital and she insured him the truck had no mechanical or electrical issues. You took off $2,700 from the average trade price that I got from your website, so you admit there was a problem by doing that. I’ll admit the truck was dirty, but no accidents and a good cleaning the truck would look like new. You listed the truck for $33,848. $8,848 in profit… More

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP WITH DISHONEST GENERAL SALES MANAGER!!! FOLLOW THIS CLOSELY IN DETAILS: I bought 2019 GMC Sierra on 9/5/19. I left the truck to be detail for delivery and pick up before I left Atlanta area FOLLOW THIS CLOSELY IN DETAILS: I bought 2019 GMC Sierra on 9/5/19. I left the truck to be detail for delivery and pick up before I left Atlanta area on 9/6/19. I picked up the truck and headed home to Charleston SC. Arrived in Charleston just before dark. Woke up Saturday morning to admire my new purchase and found particles in the paint job which appeared to look like a bowling ball on passenger rear of truck. I took pictures and send it to my salesman who relayed it to JAMES JACOB (sales manager). JACOB and I had a conversation about it in which he asked me to take it to my local dealership with a body shop ( his acknowledgment of a problem). Once at Baker Buick GMC, here in Charleston, several associates examined the truck and noted the issues. One being that the new truck had been buffed on with the evidence of buffing compound in the sides of the tailgate, the noticeable swirls, and the defects in the paint. We ( myself and one of the associate) called JAMES JACOB and explained the issues and what was needed to correct the problem. He took ownership and asked me to pay and he would reimburse (which he did but complained about), but the problem is.....Baker got the residue off, but the swirls in the paint job is still visible on my black truck. JAMES JACOB immediately started blaming Baker when Baker tried to help him get rid of the problem. General Motors has gotten involved in trying to resolve this issue that is clearly no fault of mines. CAPITAL BUICK GMC will not own and fix a situation on a new $60,000.00 truck, in which they knew existed prior to selling me this vehicle, by buffing on the truck, which is evidenced by the buffing compound and the examination of an independent dealership. BE LEERY OF PURCHASING ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP WITHOUT CAREFUL EXAMINATION. Making a sale is all that they care about. Customer service is out of the window. JAMES JACOB is a liar, by trying to defame a dealership that tried to help him. I am terribly disappointed in General Motors, as they admit that they are sorry and know it's no fault of mines. The problem is I spent a fortune on a new vehicle, and got robbed by CAPITAL BUICK GMC. To CAPITAL BUICK GMC, I will be the biggest mouth you have ever meet, making hard working consumers aware of your dishonestly. To General Motors, shame on you for acknowledging the problem and allowing a dealership to market and sell your product with no care and compassion for your customers. More

Sold an Unsafe and Worthless Yukon UNDISCLOSED ` I purchased a 2010 GMC Yukon from Capital GMC Buick in 2015. At the time of purchase they asked that I get the vehicle checked out by third party. ` I purchased a 2010 GMC Yukon from Capital GMC Buick in 2015. At the time of purchase they asked that I get the vehicle checked out by third party. This was odd to me since the dealership has a service center. This raised a flag with me so, I asked if there was anything that I should know about the vehicle since they were asking me to do this. They responded by saying "No, the vehicle was supposed to be going to the auction the following week, and this was normal." I took the Yukon to Midas. There the fluids, brakes, and tires were checked. I attempted to trade in my 2010 Yukon at Steve Rayman Chevrolet recently. It was there I found out that my Yukon was “unsafe.” Steve Rayman was unable to take my 2010 Yukon as a trade in because before I purchased the Yukon it had been in a severe accident and the airbags were deployed. Making the vehicle unsafe. They were baffled that I was able to even get the vehicle financed given the circumstances of the vehicle. They couldn’t even make a low ball offer at all on the 2010 Yukon. They considered the vehicle worthless and unsafe. They advised me that I should be concerned with the vehicle’s safety. Capital Buick GMC knowingly sold me this unsafe Yukon, and did not disclose this information to me when I specifically asked if there was anything I should know. Therefore, they did not give me a chance to get the vehicle properly checked out. I was misled. Had I of known the Yukon’s airbags were deployed I would of gotten the vehicle safety checked out including airbags. I was not disclosed any of this information, so only basic maintenance was checked out, not the safety of the vehicle. I also wouldn’t of purchased the Yukon. I am a mother of a six month old boy and a ten year old boy, so safety is my main concern. After discovering that my vehicle was worthless, I contacted GM Financial to find out how the vehicle was even finance to me. I spoke with a Supervisor named Hannah after telling her what happened she advised me that it was negligence on their part she also stated that, “If we knew the vehicle’s history before financing it, they probably wouldn’t finance most of the vehicles that they do.” I found this shocking since even private financial institutes check out the vehicle’s history before approving financing. Not to mention the Finance Manager also lying to me. I was told if at anytime you choose not to have the warranty your monthly payment will go back down to the original price per month. This is not true, if you choose to have warranty removed at anytime your monthly payment remains the same no matter what. More

I hope no one else has the same experience as me. After making a deal and signing the paper work I was called 10 days later to resign the contract that they made an error. I was treated very poorly and was making a deal and signing the paper work I was called 10 days later to resign the contract that they made an error. I was treated very poorly and was told they would not process the contract as signed. Once I consulted with a lawyer they finally corrected the problem. This is my first GM and will be my last. More
