I had a hard to diagnose problem with my van. They checked it twice over 2 days and couldn’t find anything that caused the odor from my air conditioning. I was hearing a thud under the hood of my car when I would start it. Took it back into Dodge. They say the entire transmission and driveshaft need to be replaced. No problem, I’m under warranty. They wo would start it. Took it back into Dodge. They say the entire transmission and driveshaft need to be replaced. No problem, I’m under warranty. They would work on getting me a rental too. Great! 4 DAYS LATER, I tried to call them for an update b/c I’ve heard nothing and was trying to give them patience. So I *tried* to call them but the Service Dept never answers their phone or calls you back when you leave a message so I had to physically go in - when I don’t even have a car - for an update. Suddenly they don’t want to replace the transmission and instead just replace a valve. So essentially kicking the can down the road until my car is out of warranty when the transmission really breaks. AND I STILL DON’T HAVE A RENTAL CAR! Horrible service, pinching pennies, bandaid problems, and not looking out for their customers’ best interests. They are so many better dealerships out there than this one. More
Was a little put off when I was told that even if the repair was “covered” that it could take up to 4 days to get authorization from Jeep to cover it and the rental if needed. I have the Max Care Warrant repair was “covered” that it could take up to 4 days to get authorization from Jeep to cover it and the rental if needed. I have the Max Care Warranty, there should not be any misunderstanding on what is and what is not covered, it’s in black and white. Was told this was a Jeep/Chrysler mandated wait to verify warranty, not sure about that but will be reaching out to Jeep to ask. DI in fact get warranty covered part replaced for my deductible, not sure how since I was told that would need approval 1st, maybe it was under a specified dollar amount. More
