Good Customer Service We live near Dallas Texas, We purchase our 2018 Class C over the internet from Strafford Mo. They gave us the best deal we could find. Charles Francis was the salesman who assisted us. The negotiations went smoothly. We agreed on a price and put a deposit down on the unit we wanted. We expected things to be different after we arrived at the dealership, however everyone was friendly and easy to work with from the manager on down. We had a few minor issues with the unit but they were taken care of in a timely manner. While traveling we realized a small item was missing and we called Charles, When we got home the item was on our front porch waiting for us. We would highly recommend Charles Francis, he did everything he promised over the phone to us. If you are looking for a new motorhome shop Camping World in Strafford Mo, and ask for Charles, I don't thing you will be disappointed. Jerry and Faith . More
First RV. Great experience! My wife and I purchased our first RV here. The sales associate we dealt with was KJ Stokely. He was super great to deal with. Sumo Springs Installed I had the pleasure of working with Alan (ser mgr) and John (ser tech) who installed the Sumo Springs on the Tiffin MH. Spoke with Alan several times I had the pleasure of working with Alan (ser mgr) and John (ser tech) who installed the Sumo Springs on the Tiffin MH. Spoke with Alan several times and received a phone call letting me know the Sumo Springs were at the store. Arrived at Camping World and met with Alan. Alan went over what needed to be done before the work could begin. Both of us looked over the MH before the MH went into the service bay. I asked Alan if I could have a few minutes with John to understand how John was going to install the Sumo Springs on the MH. Alan introduced me to John and I was told within 2 hours I will have the opportunity to talk with John and to understand how the Sumo Springs were going to be installed. I was in and out of Camping World in less than 4 hours. I was impressed by the overall ride with the Sumo Springs. I could tell the difference in the 50 miles that I drove back to the MH storage. The MH felt very stable, it did not roll from side to side when exiting the hwy and the Sumo Springs did give a better ride quality. No they did not take away every bump in the road but on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate it at 6. The true test will come early 2019 when the MH will make a trip to FL. I would like to say that Alan was great to work with and was very involved to make sure the MH was going to be taken care of in a timely manner and the customer was very satisfied. Thanks Alan. More

Not a happy camper I bought a new 2014 Thor Challenger from them and have had nothing but problems. Beware ! Thor make inferior coaches and I don't think Camping world know how to work on them. I have had approx. 30 problems since February and most took several trip to get repaired. I have to drive 100 miles to get there so most of the miles on the coach are from going there and back from the lake of the Ozarks. Don't ask George the sevice manager for help as he will tell you what you want to hear but not follow though. I have been waiting on a call back from him on a refrigerator problem for three weeks , He said it would take a few days to get an answer. We have had so many problems that we will no longer be updating our new coach next year with Thor and never buying in Stafford Missouri. Do yourself a favor and don't buy Thor of with Camping World. More
I called the day before going to the store in Springfield to get a part for my RV because it is 100 miles from my house. The parts dept told me it was in stock. When I got to the store, besides being total to get a part for my RV because it is 100 miles from my house. The parts dept told me it was in stock. When I got to the store, besides being totally clueless, they told me they will have to order the part. The guy in the parts department was all of a sudden on a phone that did not ring so could not help us. The cashier who was trying to help us was totally clueless about what the parts were and tried to look them up, but was basically lost. They were completely unapologetic about the fact that it was their fault that we drove 100 miles for a part that was obviously not in stock that we were told was on the floor. I will never go to camping world again and will tell everyone I run into about how bad the customer service is and their total lack of knowledge of simple care about their customers. More
