Obviously this is a big purchase and a big decision, so we're taking our time. We are however carefully taking note of which dealerships are the most helpful and comfortable to shop at. This one doesn't make the list for the following reasons: The sales guy sounded like a politician. That's a huge strike off the bat. You can never trust the words of a politician. We told him that we are interested in seeing different layouts and he basically told us that they are all the same and that he would just show us one that was in the middle of the road with our budget. So on this huge lot, he took us to see two. TWO fifth wheels. That's supposed to give us all the info we need to make an informed decision. Oh, and go online. Because there are 360 views on there. He did show is a third one by accident because he opened the wrong one. It was a bunk house which originally we didn't think we were interested in but after seeing it decided it may be a consideration for office space. Even after that basically proving that in order to make a well informed decision you have to know your options he only showed us the three. Then on the way back he was talking about a guy who came all the way there from Arizona to buy a class C that they had because of one specific detail. That's because when you are buying an RV for full time living the details are important, and even one small difference can make a unit feel more like home to a particular person. Bottom line, I would like to have been shown more than two. I guess maybe he didn't want to bother taking the time to show us all that was available because the sale want going to happen today. I think if I were in sales it wouldn't matter. I would want the customer to feel comfortable and leave with at least the information and experience they came for so that when they were ready, they would come back. There was no mention of used fifth wheels. This told me that they are more out to make the best sale for them, not you. Surprise, surprise. They should just unlock the doors of the units and let people look for themselves if they can't be bothered. This definitely isn't the dealership for us. More
Outstanding experience at Safford purchasing our first RV Purchasing our first RV at Safford was an outstanding experience from the beginning. The staff, salesman, Sales Manager, financial folks, and service Purchasing our first RV at Safford was an outstanding experience from the beginning. The staff, salesman, Sales Manager, financial folks, and service folks treated us professionally and respectfully throughout. They met every one of our desires to ensure the deal was closed and was equitable for us and Safford. The service rep was meticulous in preparing our RV for delivery and the Service Mgr was very accommodating as well. We received a personal training session from their professional driver prior to taking it off the lot. If I was to provide a small amount of feedback where opportunity for improvement may exist, there were just two things: We spent 6 hours at Safford on the day we were scheduled for delivery and we never heard back from the salesperson after we took delivery to see if everything was OK. Safford RV only interested in making a sale UPDATE OK so it took the publishing of this review to finally get someone from Safford RV to call. I wanted to update this review with the complete list of i OK so it took the publishing of this review to finally get someone from Safford RV to call. I wanted to update this review with the complete list of items that were not checked and went wrong with the unit when we got it home. The biggest item by far was the 50 amp power cord. It was never inspected during the so called PDQ. If it had been properly inspected they would have seen that it was damaged. When we plugged the unit in at Cherry Hill RV park it shorted out. The TV in the bedroom caught fire, the GFI breaker in the panel was fried, the convection oven was fried. We almost lost the coach to fire. Total to fix and replace all items $1,160.00. Parts only my labor is not included. There is a hole in the skylight above the shower the size of a fifty cent piece. Apparently no one thought to look the roof over. ( Myself included)That will have to be replaced. There was no water filter in the water filter assembly even after we asked about it. The sprayer for the toilet had to be replaced it was none functional. After removing and inspecting I found that some one had jambed a nail into the sprayer valve assembly for an unknown reason. The cooling fans on the refrigerator need to be replace both brackets holding them in place are broken. They are $150.00 each. The window blind over the dinning room table needed to be be rewound. When we got the coach home we found that the rewound blind had not been attached properly and fell on the table and damaged it. Again we do understand that we bought this coach with out a warranty and they come with bugs. Its part of the life style. However Safford made a big deal out of charging us $800.00 for a "PDQ" as they called it. Everything on this review should have been caught and fixed. Not interested in money just want to warn everyone out there what you may or may not expect for $800.00 from Safford RV. We purchased a 2011 DRV Mobile suite from Safford RV in Jan. of 2016. We asked for a specific delivery date and they told us that they could do it. It was not ready on time. Apparently the new RV sales show that was going on nearby trumped a cash paying customer. The PDQ that they charged us $800.00 for was incomplete and incompetent at best. They failed to replace the plug in the water heater after removing it.. They obviously never checked the hydraulic landing gear. There was hydraulic fuild all over the hydraulic compartment and a left behind wrench. The water line that filled the water tank blew off on the first use and soaked and flooded the basement insulation the list goes on. One hour after leaving their shop the front landing gear drifted down and nearly snapped off. We had to stop every 45 minutes and run it back up. That cost us $800.00 to have repaired. They broke the medicine cabinet door/mirror while cleaning the unit. We receieved the replacement for it last night after several phone calls to them and 8 weeks of waiting, and it was broken. We still have not received the missing parts for the double door refrigerator. Safford never contacted us once about these " We Owe " items. My wife has been hounding them for about eight weeks. They have shown no interest what so ever about following up after the sale. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone if you are expecting service after the sale. We are coming up on 4 months after the sale and no one from Safford has ever called us to see what the status is of the items that they promised to supply us with in writing. We have been full timing off and on for nearly 30 years and yes we get it. RV's come with problems. I would really like to have heard from some one regarding the "we owes" that they owed us but it never happened. We have come to the conclusion that no help will be forth coming from Safford and that we will have to have the "we owed" items fixed and replaced at our own expense. More

Yes, is used but don't describe as great if not. The graphics were all peeling, and there were a lot. The front part of roof had been replaced with tan roofing when the original was white. The salesman, Keith, seemed to b in another world. No answers to any questions. Always had to go ask someone. Would not recommend or Ho to again! More

He was very patient, kind and informative to our demands. He took his time with us, even knowing we may not purchase. The entire staff at Safford was nice to us in our 2yrs search. Today, wit the help of Mr. Requidan, we found a Class A that met all my demands and purchased at a great price. We had been to several RV shows and looking in at different RV places. It was our salesman, Ricky, the GM, Noah and of course the wonderful pricing negotiated that made our purchase easy and painless. Thank you all at Safford RV for making our dreams come true. We stopped at Safford on the way back to the airport and were greeted by Noah Peery (the salesman, not the sales manager). Noah spent nearly three hours with us listening carefully to our questions and providing outstanding information on the Winnebago products we were interested in. We scrutinized every floorpan with Noah providing meaningful feedback and advice. Being so early in our search, we weren't able to make any commitments, but as far as we were from home, we STILL would have given Noah our business. He was that good. Noah Ingram, the sales manager was equally professional. It was obvious they were hoping we could make a purchase that day, but we never pushed. Hey... they get paid to sell RV's you gotta ask for the order! All in all a top notch experience with a great sales team. More

After visiting the other dealer we did some more research and finally found the time to stop by Safford. We were not going to purchase anything but just look around. Mark-our salesman, had our needs and showed us what the Safford had on hand. We narrowed it down to two possibilities and decided to make an offer. The receptionist was also awesome in getting us help and with entertaining our 2 year old. Thank you, More
