I’ll be describing this “potential customers unforgettable experience” - Saturday, November 12, 2022. Before I do let me give you some insight my husband & I live in Hemet CA & already own a 27’ toy hauler we enjoy going riding/camping with our 3 daughters, family & friends. We decided we wanted to get another smaller camper that my Jeep could tow. We were in Temecula having dinner & we were referred to Camping World we were already in Temecula CA & decided to go look. Unfortunately the camper we were interested in was in MENIFEE CA and couldn’t see it that night they were closing. Essentially we were going to purchase a trailer without seeing it they said they could get it delivered to their lot by next week. We discussed with the Temecula Associates & decided ok we’ll go to the bank on Saturday and get a check and swing by the MENIFEE LOCATION before we sign the purchase agreement. When we arrived in MENIFEE and were greeted by the receptionist and we explained our situation and asked to see the camper. She wasn’t sure how to handle us so she asked two sales associate what to do and asked “Joe” if he could help us. Then another salesman (Mark L.) comes up to hear the conversation Joe then says I can’t right now I’m going to be taking my lunch. The second associate walked away. Mark then says so you’re not purchasing? (His demeanor was not welcoming at all, no smile or eye contact) We said yes and no we have the check in hand and showed him but wanted to see the camper before it goes to Temecula. (So that he doesn’t think we were lookie loos.) he says “No I can’t! We asked why can’t we see it? We just want to take a quick look at what we’re buying! He replied “This is my livelihood” my husband & I said to each other “Wow” He replied “This is how I provide for my family & put food on the table!” We responded “All we asked was to see what we we’re purchasing but that’s fine if you can’t” He replied “If you wanted to see it then your sales rep should have came and met you here so he could show it” Again we look at each other as we were flabbergasted that this is how he responded & how he treats people. He then tells the other receptionist at the sales desk”Kim”to look for someone on the bottom of their roster so they can locate the trailer. Kim wide eyed look just as astonished as us. We had no words we shook our heads and my husband and I instantly knew we wanted nothing to do with “Camping World” I responded to “Kim” Thank you but that won’t be necessary we’re leaving & taking our business elsewhere.” Mark continued to go on about his pay structure and how he’s losing but we were done with the situation. I responded with “It’s fine there is no need for this we’ll drive to Temecula” and thanked Kim and walked out. We did just that…. Drove to Temecula showed the finance lady and told the sales manager we had the check and explained what had happened and can’t condone that type of treatment and financially support a company who allows staff to talk to the customers that way and left. Now all of this could have been avoided had Mark or ANY associate just said “Please have a seat while we get an associate to locate the camper” and the 3 associates would have been done with us. They most definitely gave “Camping World” and MENIFEE location a horrible reputation that day and MARK lost/cost the BUSINESS $31k that day. I’ll do an update if I hear back from management but I wouldn’t hold my breath. I read the following and really wished this was a positive statement. Despite the success of the business, Marcus still focuses on what he believes are the most important aspects of any organization: THE PEOPLE. It doesn’t matter if it’s a high-level executive, a low-level associate, or a customer, Marcus treats each and every person with respect. Gave them a $500 deposit for an RV and never heard another word from them. Called 20 times and contacted at least ten different managers, salesman, and finance persons. They would say it is not their department or they were gone for vacation. I had to have my credit card company get my deposit back. More
I purchased 3 RV's from Camping World and the sales experience was good. The service experience has not been. I upgraded the sofa in my latest coach a few years ago, and it has degraded to be unusab experience was good. The service experience has not been. I talked to them about it and they said it is a known problem, but the manufacturer decides if they are going to take care of it, and you didn't get chosen! I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with Camping World, not the manufacturer, and I am just asking them to replace it! Fight for me, one of your repeat customers! I am not very well, and want to spend the rest of my time visiting my Family and Friends in the RV I bought to do so. No one will help me. Cylvia Yongjaiyuth More

The service is terrible and the written and recorded verbal promises of Marcus Lemonis are laughably empty. All you get is the runaround. There is a reason that I-hate-Camping-World sites exist on-line. Most recently, in my case: • It was incredibly difficult to make a service appointment. I was scheduled months out. • They then had my RV for over two weeks and still didn’t complete the basic work they said they would do — including providing a simple insurance estimate for some roof/awning damage. • The corporate rep I am supposed to be working with to remedy issues has not returned any of my many emails or calls over the last several weeks. • When I call and talk to the corporate office coordinator, they tell me they are escalating and I will get a call back from a manager. That has happened several times over the last ten days or so and nobody has ever contacted me. • There is no accountability at the store level or at the corporate level. STAY AWAY!! More

Had a washer and dryer installed! 3000 dollars later the washer had scratches black hand print all over the walls no brackets to secure the w/d but I payed for it . Worst experience of my life , First time camper purchasers and they lied and manipulated every step. Their financial dept worst I've ever delt with. Over 30 ago I purchased the camper and still don purchasers and they lied and manipulated every step. Their financial dept worst I've ever delt with. Over 30 ago I purchased the camper and still don't have a plate and their plate expired June 4th . I would never go there again and would highly recommend no one eles go either . There is evil behind the smiles. Once they get your money they ghost you. Not even sure I want the camper anymore!!!!! More
I just received bill from loan company which CW deal with. I thought monthly payment is higher than we talked with dealer. Very surprising and shocked. My base price was $2,000 up!! Total around $7,000 raised up my total purchase price! I know I didn’t hard to check before sign but I was talked with loan man “I don not want any options.” He says just “OK. Let me see.” to keep tapping computer. I was really shocked. I should really check what he was doing but I never thought this happened. At that point we were only discussing monthly payment and I assumed he was adjusting interest rate. Now Our monthly payment is slightly less than originally agreed to before delivery but total financing is almost 10K more than what we originally agreed to. And of course the important papers to sign with all the numbers were about the 40th paper I had to sign!! My budget really tight now. The RV sale need change rule. Really. lot of people has problems. There’s no price on RV so even I took picture there’s nothing I can’t proof it. I will say STAY A WAY from CW. I purchased South Carolina. Oh yeah, They were very friendly until sign the paper! More

There is no deal until you take possession, once you pull or drive it off the lot you’re stuck. So, do not take possession of your RV until you’ve looked over your contract and thoroughly checked out the RV. Now, they’ll do all they can do to get you to take it home but don’t! There’s no deal until you take it off the lot even if you’ve already signed the contract, As long as you don’t take possession they’ll have to tear up the contract. It’s true in every state and it’s the same with automobiles.. They added over $10,000 to the cost of my motorhome thinking that we’d only look at the payment amount and not at all of the figures! An attorney told me years ago to never take possession of anything until you’re satisfied and it’s the only thing that saved me! They have so many scams going and tried to screw us over so badly and I don’t want to relive it. Just remember this rule to not take possession and good luck my friend! It’s kinda like dealing with the devil! More
