DON'T EVER BUY A CAR FROM CAMP CHEVROLET! !! All my life, my dream was to own a Corvette. I saved up for years, and in 2020 I was ready. Camp Chevrolet got only 1 C8 Corvette allotment. I !! All my life, my dream was to own a Corvette. I saved up for years, and in 2020 I was ready. Camp Chevrolet got only 1 C8 Corvette allotment. I was the guy on the list (so I was told). I was on that wait list for nearly a year. When the glorious day arrived and I got the call that they finally got their allotment I was ecstatic. When I went down to put the money down they said, we want an EXTRA $10,000 or we'll give the car to someone else. Like the desperate fool that I am, I paid it. I had to console myself that I had my dream car. Now that I have it...I HATE MY C8 CORVETTE. I have had it for 3 years, and nearly since day 1 the breaks SQUEAL so loud it could break glass. It's embarrassing to drive my car. The Camp service department says this is normal, and there is nothing they can do. I asked if we could replace the brakes. I was told sure, if I gave them another $16,000. I went to the manager of Camp Chevrolet, put my keys in his hand and said, "just drive it, and see how bad it is." He told me to my face that he wouldn't drive it, and that this is a service department issue. I even offered to let his salesmen use my C8 to demonstrate to other buyers. Strangely he hasn't done that. I have been taking the car back again, and again, and again for THREE years. They just don't care. Nobody is advocating for me. Everybody is throwing their hands in the air and saying, "there is nothing we can do". There is no customer service. There is no sense of responsibility. There is no caring. I will NEVER buy a car from Camp Chevrolet again. Unfortunately, they don't care. More
This is the third car we have purchased from Camp, the two that I bought, were outstanding deals. With a good quality in their used cars. These people are awesome to deal with! I bought a car 2 1/2 years ago and ended up having problems with it and as soon as they were made aware of the problem, they did everything they coul I bought a car 2 1/2 years ago and ended up having problems with it and as soon as they were made aware of the problem, they did everything they could to fix my car!
