No pressure to buy and a fair price My wife and I were greeted almost immediately upon arriving at the dealership by David McCaughey. He did not try to pressure us into buying anything at that time but did take the time to listen to us regarding what type of vehicle we were interested in. He showed us several that were at the store and let us go for a short test drive. The specific vehicle that we wanted was not available in the area. He took the necessary information to order one and gave us a price that was fairly reasonable. We returned the next day and ordered the Traverse SLT. When the vehicle arrived on their lot, David called to let us know that it was in and asked us to come over to Camp and pick it up. Michael McCaughey met us as we arrived and stayed with us during the wait for someone to prepare the paperwork to arrange payment on the vehicle. All of the persons at Camp were pleasant to deal with and we were impressed with their professionalism. We would recommend Camp Chevrolet to other people. More

Do Not Travel to Purchase! I had a heartbreaking experience with this dealership. I traveled 6 hours to purchase a vehicle only to find I was lied to and taken advantage of. It was a ploy to not contact me before making the trip. When I arrived I found out it sold the day before, then they had the nerve to try to sell me cars $5,000 over my budget. I felt very comfortable and confident in the relationship I built with the sales person (Cara). I found the perfect vehicle for me and my growing family. Being a teacher I was unable to get a sub or take off work to pick it up as soon as I could. I knew the risk of the vehicle selling and I was ok with that risk. I was in contact with Cara the night before I was making my trip. The vehicle was sold the night before and as of an hour before my visit, I was told it was still available ( just being looked at). I was heartbroken to realize that people are so selfish and dishonest. I trusted them, paid the gas, put mileage on my truck and wasted money on a hotel for nothing. They did nothing (besides trying to give them more money) to make this situation right. In the end it was a great lesson for my 3rd graders on what it means to be a good person, no matter what your occupation is. More

12 hour round trip for nothing I contacted this dealer in a Sunday evening and for a quick response on the availability of a vehicle my girlfriend and I Were interested in. We live in montana so we weren't going to make it there until the following weekend. We understood the risk that the vehicle may sell by Sunday but kept in daily contact. I spoke personally to Cara the following Friday and said we would be up Saturday like expected all week. My 7 month pregnant girlfriend and I traveled 6 hours to buy this car. Cara called us at noon on Saturday to make sure we were still coming. We said yup we were in the valley. She says ok someone is looking at it so hurry. We get there and they explain it sold. Initially we were upset but understood the risk so it was more of a bummer than anger.. obviously that have other vehicles ready to sell to us 5 grand over our initial budget. Here's what's important in talking about the new cars that let it slip that sold the car we wanted the night before... Where was my phone call? Do not trust these people. 6 hours, gas money and a hotel it cost this expecting family. Thanks for everything camp chevrolet. More

Service department is incompetent Had to take my car that I purchased from Camp back 3 times AFTER the initial oil change due to leaking residual oil. Not only did this require me taking time off of work, but each time I dropped off our picked up it was a MINIMUM 10 minute wait. Their staff is incompetent in customer service and they barely acknowledged this being an inconvenience. I fully expected a credit of some sort, at least am apology for inconveniencing me but they basically acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me each time I brought it in! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE, unless you think repeated visits to fix incompetent maintenance is a way to spend your day. More
