Chris was a great sales rep. It is extremely difficult to find a dealer and a sales rep that can maintain professionalism and honor the deal they claim they can make. In this case, I was out the door in about 2 hours in my Genesis Coupe! And, to make things better, they gave me more than any dealer would for my trade. Customer service was amazing on my first oil change as well. Looking forward to future interactions with the service department. If you're in the market for a car, check this place out. I am a woman who was looking for a car and had gone to a competitive dealership and was so high pressured that 3 sales people cornered me in a room and I got just fed up and told them so and I left without competitive dealership and was so high pressured that 3 sales people cornered me in a room and I got just fed up and told them so and I left without the car I might have gotten if they had just let me breathe and think it over a bit. So the next time I took my son and his wife with me to another dealer. We had an appointment and when we got there the car I had seen and told the dealership I wanted to drive the next day was GONE--sold on e-bay the night before. I was so disappointed. But they magically produced another car that had just come in to them and I was pleased with the way we negotiated the price. Mike Gutierrez was patient, kind, professional, a real gentleman. He wanted to make this work for me and his company. We haggled a bit, as per-usual, he didn't give up and neither did we. I believe we came to a fair price and I bought the car. Drove it home tonight and I believe I will be very happy driving my Hyundai Sonata for a very long time. I keep my cars until they practically die on the road. Mike made it very clear that if I have any questions about the car to call him direct and he will help me figure it all out. He was very, very busy the day I came to pick up my car--he must have been juggling several clients and tried very hard to make us all feel important. He is an asset to the company. Thank you Mike. I bought a 2012 hyundai accent and traded in my minivan. The deal fell through which I had to call over and over again to get an answer on my financing. They couldn't find my trade in and had to search for it for 3 weeks. I finally got it back and the storage bin organizer that comes stock with my van was missing along with the spare key and key fob. Of course they deny knowing anything about it. I found in the glove box the paper work from CarMax who they sold it too. Turns out that they sold the van to them and had to buy it back when the deal fell through. Who knows who has the extra key and my $900 discontinued organizer bin now. I am now going to have to rekey my whole vehicle and replace something that I shouldn't have to replace. All while being treated like crap and completely ignored and put off. More
This review is being written due to the best customer service we received from a sales representative named Paolo Castro of Nick Mayer Dealership at their Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona location. He i service we received from a sales representative named Paolo Castro of Nick Mayer Dealership at their Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona location. He is very courteous, polite, and pleasant to talk with which was totally opposite of another dealership experience whose slogan is "No Bull About It". The experience we encountered at the other dealership was an unpleasant customer service to the point we will never return to them. My wife and I were loyal customers with Saturn since 1992 and only discontinued due to GM no longer producing the vehicle. We wanted a dealership that is more interested with providing TOP NOTCH customer service and looking for lifetime customers in lieu of ensuring they made their sales quota. We left Nick Mayer feeling as though we found that type of customer service working with Paolo Castro during this purchase. Through the help of our son who is in the Army and stationed out-of-state, Paolo agreed to a price and guaranteed our son no haggling over it when we came to sign the contract. And that is just what happened, unlike the other dealership. He also told our son that we would be out with our new vehicle in a certain period of time and that was held true as well. No hassles, no miscommunication, and no "let me talk with my manager" - just outstanding service received from him. As previously mentioned, we have dealt with other car sales representatives but he (Paolo Castro) is the BEST - bar none. He was prompt to ask, understand, and precisely provide what we wanted in customer service and product satisfaction. We believe Nick Mayer customer service is good but with the type of attention and support we received from Paolo Castro he is what can make it outstanding. We are pleased to express our total and sincere appreciation with him. He deserves recognition from no less the dealership owner because his type of service overall is OUTSTANDING! My only concern is the constant change of service writers. The have a hard Imelda getting the service drive cleared out from cars oming in. John the service manager is great but oldies it seems like writers. The have a hard Imelda getting the service drive cleared out from cars oming in. The sales person who helped me was Kelly. A family member was helping me buy the car and set some ground rules and all were followed unlike other dealerships who had other cars we were looking at. She was ex was helping me buy the car and set some ground rules and all were followed unlike other dealerships who had other cars we were looking at. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We gave them the exact price we wanted to pay and that's what they sold us the car at. Any questions I had were answered immediately and if Kelly did not know the answer she knew who would, found out and relayed the message to me asap. If I know anybody who wants to buy a new car I will defenitly tell them to go see Kelly. More
The overall experience at NM Kia was in simple terms...phenominal!! Gary Timmons was very helpful, extremely knowledgable, and above all, POLITE. You really don't find that very often in people anymore!! There was work that needed to be done on my car and I really didn't quite understand all of it, but that young man took the time to explain to me exactly what needed to be done and WHY it needed to be done. The level of knowledge was astounding. Because of that courteous, polite and attentive young man, I will be a continued customer of Nick Mayer Kia. Sincerely, Samantha Stambaugh More
AFTER the sale. Two weeks later, call from the sales manager came in. He told me my deal was not approved by Kia and that I either needed to come sign new paperwork for an extra $50 a month or return my manager came in. He told me my deal was not approved by Kia and that I either needed to come sign new paperwork for an extra $50 a month or return my car. The way he made it sound, I had no choice. I weighed my options, and after being humiliated I decided to just say screw it, I want to get this over with. I drove the 40 miles out of my way, went and signed new paperwork where the dufas of a finance manager highlighted for me. Mind you, this whole time, they owed me $4100 for my trade-in. One week later I called the sales manager asking why I had no received my check for my trade yet. He tells me, oh! you singed the contract on the wrong line. You need to come back in and sign it before we can move forward with your deal. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I signed right where that loser highlighted. So, in order to speed the process up a bit more, I drove ANOTHER 40 miles out of my way (80 miles round trip), to sign the "new contract" in the right place. One week later, I called again, asking where my money was. He was waiting on Kia to "fund my deal" before they cut my check and SWORE as soon as the funding went through, he would have someone hand deliver my check. Days go by, my niceness has worn off. I called back, and conveniently the deal went through and he said he would have a lot attendant call me in the morning to tell me he was on his way with my check in hand. 2pm the next day... no call. I called in asking for the two men I spoke with yesterday and conveniently, they are BOTH off. sweet. So I asked for their manager. He gets on the phone and says he has spoken with accounting and that my bank is refusing to release my title, and they can't cut me the check until they do. First, it was me. Then it was Kia. Now it's my bank. It's almost an entire month later and I still do not have my check. More
