The sales price they first quoted was significantly higher than the price listed on their website. I was told the website price "had a deal" included in it but they would match the website price for me. The finance guy, Carlos, was horribly unprofessional and in his push to sell me a protection plan I didn't want, he sold me a protection plan that the vehicle wasn't even eligible for. so, when the accounting department caught his mistake several says later, Carlos called me and asked "When are you coming in?" before he even explained to me what had happened. After signing the Certified Pre-Owned paperwork and the new agreement for the MPP, I looked over my sales paperwork one more time and noticed that I was charged more for the vehicle than I agreed to pay AND the ZakTek protection that the sales people described as "included" in the price of the car, was not included. Suffice it to say, I will NEVER be buying another vehicle at Camelback Hyundai. More
Advertised price for used Hyundai $9500 ,,,, became $12, 500 when we showed up.... car had an amazing amount of body / paint damage. Interior looked like a dog scratched up all the door panels . When we asked what they intended to do about the body damage, we were told nothing.... unless we wanted to pay extra for a paint job. !!.. Come to find out that they used a stock photo of a NEW Hyundai from Google for their ad... Sawyer Liao ( sales manager) is the epitome of a bad used car salesman... too many lies to mention here... when we walked away, we received very unprofessional emails . More

Now that I have had this "certified pre-owned Hyundai" for a while the first service guy I had Pedro wanted to charge me 800.00 f UPDATE STAY AWAY. Now that I have had this "certified pre-owned Hyundai" for a while the first service guy I had Pedro wanted to charge me 800.00 for an oil leak which was done under warranty by a new service person. He also tried to charge me 6000.00 for a new transmission from hitting something, which I never did hit anything. The tranny started moving around so I had to address it. The shop has just told me that this has already been repaired once and poorly. "certified pre-owned" right? That the damage was under the protective shroud underneath. I am fixing it for under 1000.00 and it would have been less had I not been lied to and told to replace the entire transmission. Now I know why they wanted to give me a free month that came with a waiver of responsibility for them. Thank goodness I didn't take it. Hopefully I have actions I can take since my shop took pics and I didn't sign the waiver. Camelback is what you think of as a stereotypical car dealership. Be prepared to do the sales negotiations. I like car I got, but I had to go through a fair amount to get it done. They offered me a month free for all the trouble I went through but the check came with a lifetime waiver of liability for Camelback Hyundai, so I did not take it. I do like the car and Pedro in service was very good, but I can't say that I would recommend them. More

We scheduled a test drive online for a new Palisade. The sales person (Amir) was very personable at first, explained the car to us, etc. After the test drive, he asked if we "wanted to talk numbers". The vehicle had everything we wanted, so we said yes. Keep in mind, we booked the test drive online and the calendar appointment even had the price of the vehicle. Amir came in with a piece of paper that had a MSRP $2000 higher than price online (and also on our calendar invite from the dealership!!). When we pointed this out, he acted surprised and "wasn't sure how that happened" (insert bad vibes). He quickly changed the MSRP to match our price. Then we had about $4000 of deal add-ons, many of which seemed like redundant paint protection. How much paint protection does one need??? My husband & I wanted to think about it, so Amir started rolling off the dollar amounts on the price. When I explained, that I wish we would have just started there and we probably would have already had a deal, he become annoyed and said something along the lines of needing to try. No thanks...we ended up driving to Avondale to buy the same vehicle with from another dealer. After this experience, I won't even take our new Palisade to this dealer for service. More

I went in to have service done on my Hyundai and started walking around the showroom. Amir came up to me and ask how I was doing. I can honestly say that I have not had such a good experience in buying a new car EVER. It was painless and I was glad I walked into the showroom. The Service department as well - Leo was amazing- Thank you. My finance man- walked slowly through the process- I was able to ask plenty of questions - all with answers. The best part- I did not see the Sales Manager ever- did not bother me one time- More

Crooked service department! They attempted to extort me by recommending unnecessary repairs for items well within manufacturer’s factory specifications. They also failed to repair / re-secure a loose fuel by recommending unnecessary repairs for items well within manufacturer’s factory specifications. They also failed to repair / re-secure a loose fuel line covered by warranty that I asked them several times to remedy. I will never take my car there ever again.
