Service department needs to get on the ball. I have been waiting for a "safety recall" repair since May of 2024. It took two months for someone in the service department to return my call. Finally after someone did return my call I was told Honda had issues the parts to do the repair. Strangely on the recall notice it stated if you already have paid to have this repair done Honda will reimburse you, wonder where those parts came from. I called frequently to check afterwards. In September I was told Honda was sending parts out to do some of the recalls they would check and let me know. Never heard from them again. I called the dealership in Roanoke and they confirmed Honda had not issued the parts to do the repair and American Honda would be sending out a letter when the parts will be available. I received the letter in December that the part were available and to bring the vehicle in for repair. I called the dealership to schedule an appointment. No one answered so I left a message again no return call. I called again the next day surprisedly the service manager said I was just about to call you, I thought yeah right. Anyway same old story they didn't have parts, when said I received a letter saying the parts were available he response was "I don't know why they sent that out saying that because we don't have the ". This conversation was on 1/9, he said he would check with the parts department to see if they could find out when they would be coming in and he would call me back. Today is February 5th and I haven't heard from him. I called Priority Honda in Roanoke and got an appointment to have the repair done. The Lynchburg Honda dealership suck at communication and it makes me think the service department would be just as bad. The is one Honda owner that will never know I go with Priority for any future needs. More

I had a good time buying a used car from this dealership, however, when we learned there were a couple of issues with the transmission, they would not budge on the price. It was already discounted, but that appeared due to the interior being rather tattered. After going over it in detail with the service department, they offered to have it fixed by the weekend, so I felt convinced enough to buy it knowing it would be fixed soon at a good price. I made the purchase and arranged with services to have it fixed and drove off feeling taken care of. Later that afternoon, I received a notice about the service appointment for my car and noticed some details were wrong, so I called to confirm the details only to be told that I never mentioned the key issue with the transmission that I had scheduled for when that was the main thing we had discussed for roughly 15 minutes. I even had the employee's handwriting on the paper outlining the issue. I returned the next day and was offered nothing to alleviate the situation. The sales manager told me that the services department does their own thing and that the two departments hardly communicate with each other, which was already obvious, to put it mildly. I ended up leaving without being helped in any way by any of the teams and feeling like they only offered to have the transmission fixed to convince me to buy the car, and as soon as that deal was done with, they went back on their word to have my car fixed. I would still recommend this dealership, but I would caution to get everything in writing. Some of the people there were nice and helpful. I greatly appreciated Luke and would give him a 4/5 or 5/5 rating, and I feel bad that I have to give my overall impression of my visit a low rating because the team let me down repeatedly in the end.
