Great salesman with a sense of humor. I came in to this dealership because it was most convenient to my residence, but had I known that my experience with Chad was going to go like it did I came in to this dealership because it was most convenient to my residence, but had I known that my experience with Chad was going to go like it did I would have come to gateway from much further away if needed. Chad was great (regardless of his poor preference in nfl team) he turned something i was dreading into a night filled with joking and laughter, and that's how I like to do things. I came into the dealership with a good knowledge of what I was looking at, but anything I wasn't sure of he was there to confirm for me. Overall great experience and if I were rich I'd come in to buy a car again just to hangout. Great staff. More

I worked with Milton Robinson and he was very personable right off the bat. We talked and did math for a while and came up with a monthly payment which ended up not fitting my budget. After telling him that, he did everything he could to make this deal work out and it did. Though he did make a sale for himself he also helped me our greatly and I'm happy to say that I left the dealership that day with the car I wanted. From the beginning to the end, she was extremely polite and courteous! I already had a make and model in mind, so we could go straight to the car I was most interested in. In the end, I of course, chose to purchase the vehicle! The entire experience, from just checking out the vehicle, talking price and interest rates, and everything else in between, was just so very comfortable! Monica was never pushy or aggressive about trying to sell a vehicle, but instead very easy going and comfortable to interact with. Everyone else on the team that I interacted with from the managers to finance employees were all so kind and genuine. I really feel the team did their best to offer the best deal on the vehicle I purchased and fit that deal around the specifics I was looking for. My parents who were also with me even commented that their visit to Gateway Hyundai was the most pleasant car buying experience they've had! It has been less than 24 hours since I purchased my car and drove it home and I have already shared my experience with others and recommended Gateway Hyundai! Which Hyundai Dealer should I use? When local Hyundai Dealers (Hall Chesapeake and Williamsburg Hyundai) elected to not find a way to sell us a vehicle, Gateway Hyundai did. Lots of ultimatums from these two dealership only to be completely reversed at Hyundai. So it makes me wonder how many perspective customers will never find Hyundai because they have local dealers like Hall and Williamsburg? I am so delighted I went the 62 miles to find Gateway. In fact Gateway sold us a vehicle from the lot of one of these two more local dealers. How can that be? A dealer 62 miles away sells me a vehicle from the lot of a Hyundai dealer just up the river. I am hoping for the quality I believe Hyundai has and that I will not need to ever ask for service assistance e form these local dealers. More
