2016 Tuscon "We were out looking to purchase our second Hyundai. We decided to visit all 3 Hyundai dealerships in the Richmond metro area. We had stopped by Gatew "We were out looking to purchase our second Hyundai. We decided to visit all 3 Hyundai dealerships in the Richmond metro area. We had stopped by Gateway before the dealership opened just to get an idea of the 2016 models that were available. We knew we wanted to get an AWD Tuscon or Santa Fe. So after we looked at those to models we took off to Pearson Hyundai and decided to see what they had to offer. We were immediately ""accosted"" by a salesperson who proceeded to follow us as we walked around their lot. This was immediately offputting, and we decided to leave, but of course not before the guy handed us his card. We then went to West Broad Hyundai. We looked at their vehicles and wanted to do a test of the Tuscon but the salesperson didn't seem interested in helping us so we left. When we left I asked my husband to stop by Gateway Hyundai one more time just to get an idea of the Tuscon one more time. Well, by then the dealership was opened and we pulled and went to the section that had the Tuscon's. We started window looking and after about 5-10 minutes we were warmly greeted by Jason. We told him we were just looking and he said that's fine and he told us that he would be available if we had questions. He allowed us ample time to look at every Tuscon on the lot and then asked us if we wanted to look at one. He went and got the key to one of the Tuscon's. He opened the doors and allowed us to look at interior and then asked us if we would like to do a test drive. We then took the Tuscon out for a spin and he answered all of our questions. We told him what we were looking for but it wasn't on your lot. So, he told us that if he were able to get what we wanted would we be interested in ""running the numbers"". He did, and obviously he found what we wanted, because we purchased our second vehicle. Jason was great to work with, he wasn't pushy, he was very professional and pleasant. He allowed us to make the decisions he didn't push. I greatly appreciated that. I hate pushy salespeople." More
