When I first drove from Richmond, VA to look at and test drive the vehicle, it was dirty. Because of this I was unable to see the couple of small dints in the body. However, after I purchased the vehicle an drive the vehicle, it was dirty. Because of this I was unable to see the couple of small dints in the body. However, after I purchased the vehicle and they had the vehicle detailed for me. I noticed the couple of dints before I ever drove the vehicle off of their lot. At this time, I pointed the dints out to Paul Limbacher and he assured me that they would have their dent person try to remove them. Then in about two weeks. After, I tried making contact with him. He called me about scheduling an appointment. However, where they wanted to schedule the appointment in the middle of the week and I had to work. I asked Paul about the loaner vehicle that I was told by Scott Draper when I was purchasing the car. That I would be given anytime they performed work on my vehicle. After asking about the loaner vehicle. I was told by Paul that they would not give me a loaner vehicle. So where I could not take off of work for the day and they refused my loaner vehicle that I had been promised when I purchased the vehicle. Paul then told me that he would have his dint person who is located here in Richmond, VA contact me. This was about a month ago and I have still never heard a thing. Sense the last time that I talked to Paul I have tried to contact him and left him a message with no response. Because of this I would not recommend this dealership to any person that is thinking about purchasing a vehicle. The one thing that I would say is that if you do purchase a vehicle from here and you do see anything that you do not like. You need to make sure that they correct it prior to you driving the vehicle off the lot. Because once you have drove the vehicle off the lot it is like they don't even care anymore!!!!! More

Although we had little success in finding the right listing elsewhere, I knew within 5 minutes of visiting the Colonial website that I had found a car that was nearly perfect for our needs. Colonial's website is built with the consumer in mind, providing video in addition to photographs of the vehicles, an all inclusive list of features and manufacturer's specifications, as well as carfax reports and links to Kelly Blue Book and Purecars to aid in informed car-shopping decisions. It was so refreshing to get online and find a dealership that displayed it's no-nonsense straight-forward approach so readily. Although we had initially gone into the dealership with the intent to "look" only, Michael Gazdik won us over in no time. He was waiting outside for us when we arrived, had the car ready for a test drive and gave us room to breathe all at the same time. He was friendly, warm and professional, not to mention reassuringly knowledgeable about his product. He was even willing to stay late after the dealership had closed to ensure that we were squared away and ready to go. Scott Draper also took the time to ensure that we felt well cared for despite the fact that we had come in late that evening. We were also extremely satisfied to find out that Colonial was willing to go that extra mile to ensure that all of the paperwork, including DMV registration and insurance coverage were taken care of. As busy people with full-time jobs, it can be hard to take the time off to take care of those types of things and it was a relief to have Colonial handle them as if it were no big deal. So far, the car looks and feels great and we are very happy campers knowing that we are in good hands with Colonial. We would recommend them to anyone, and don't let Mike's age fool you, his sweet heart and overall professionalism will make you feel like you are in the best of hands! More

Without exception the single best car buying experience of my adult life. I normally trade vehicles every 3 years and have experienced almost every level of service from a dealership, from the terrible to of my adult life. I have purchased vehicles from three dealerships in town and one in Culpeper and they all pale in comparison. If you are looking to buy a new or used vehicle and want true Customer Service from the moment you begin until well after your purchase, then Colonial Auto Center is THE ONLY place to go. Mike Gasdik was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable without being pushy and in concert with Nick Walton was very responsive to every question or concern I expressed; they both exceeded my expectations. I was on the market for a car for 4 weeks before a co-worker referred me to Bob. I was already frustrated from previous dealerships and salesmen so I wasn't going to Colonial with an open mind. I was greeted by a friendly salesman (I didn't get his name) who happily and quickly found Bob for me. I didn't wait long for Bob to arrive to show me around. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't want and was not pushy like other salesmen I had encountered a other dealerships. He made my car shopping experience comfortable. I did eventually find a car but did not want to go over what I budgeted for. Bob was really understanding, and again, was not pushy at all. I walked away from that car but a few days later, I came back to finally purchase it. I felt comfortable paying a little over what I had planned because of the excellent customer service and knowledge of the employees there. More
