Purchase of a used vehicle I was first met by William Childress. He was asked where Mr. Van Johnson's office was located at. He was with a customer at time, showed us the building where Van was in, but went out of his way to walk me to his office. Then as the day went on both William and Van went out of their way to make a deal for me. Could not have asked for a better team. These two individuals deserve a raise (if have not received one in a while). Thanks Van and William!!!!!!! More

Straight-forward I am the person who once traded in a loaded, year-old Ranger for a bright red Ford Aspire -- paid STICKER PRICE on the Aspire, and waited patiently wh I am the person who once traded in a loaded, year-old Ranger for a bright red Ford Aspire -- paid STICKER PRICE on the Aspire, and waited patiently while the mechanic JUMP-STARTED the car on the lot so I could drive it home. I HATE to buy cars. That's why I drove my Honda CR-V for 15 years, until that wonderful vehicle finally breathed its' last (actually, it didn't: I sold it on Craig's List to a guy who could fix the bearings himself). We had two cars die in the space of two days, and I was unspeakably reluctant to be pushed back into the business of buying a car. Long story longer, we found the Nissan brand (a good alternative, we felt, to the Honda we wished we could afford) and I lucked into meeting Bob Kemp on the Colonial lot. First of all, there was no pressure from Bob: I was initially there to spec out a Frontier (plus, possibly, a used commuter vehicle for my husband), but I ended up finding a great deal on a used Silverado from a private seller. So, I went with that and moved on to finding the commuter car. Bob had suggested the Versa as a good possibility for my husband and the research I did bore him out on that. I moved forward, pricing the car online through dealers in a 150-mile range. Only two people, of the many I contacted (30, or more?), came back with a simple answer to my price inquiry. I took my best price to Bob, and he matched it -- plus added in some options we wanted, plus showed me some additional price benefits through the dealership. During this process, I was receiving upwards of 5-10 phone calls a DAY from dealers ... not one of these was Bob. He checked in via email once or twice -- always with a note actually written by him (no form letters): short, to the point, "Can I help you?" type things. And that's how Bob seems to deal: straight-forward; to the point; if he can help, then he wants to -- but if it's better for him to step back, he does. When it came to negotiating the bill of sale, he explained things line by line and we haggled productively when that was necessary. For the first time EVER in my car buying experience, I felt that (1) I wasn't being condescended to, (2) I got a good car value for the money and (3) I got the best deal on price and service that I could possibly get. I will definitely go back to Bob in the future, and I would definitely recommend him to a friend. More

After a few attempts and finally fixing the car I wasn't satisfied overall so I asked if there was a chance I could trade up. Blake helped me with a great deal on a 2014 Nissan Altima (New) so that easily wiped out all the past frustration I had with the previous vehicle. More

Michael Gazdik seemed to be more in tune with our current criteria for making a decision to accept a deal. We currently have other obligations so our monthly payment was an important deciding factor. I am sure that others have similar situations when is comes to this type of decision. Colonial Auto Group was by far the best dealership I contacted. The sales person Chris Crowley and sales manager Mike Johnson were both very friendly and great to work with. Chris Crowley was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and very helpful with explaining how to operate all of the vehicle features after delivery. Mike Johnson provided a timely no hassle price. Scott Draper made completing the purchase paperwork very understandable and timely. I would highly recommend going to Colonial Auto Group to purchase a vehicle. More
