No Service After the Sale My husband and I bought a new Nissan Altima from Colonial. The dealership rolled out the red carpet prior to purchase--prompt emails, phone calls, friendly, accommodating, etc. Blake, our salesman, could not have been more attentive. Given that we live 30 miles away in Waynesboro, we planned to have regular services done more locally. Upon delivery of the vehicle, Blake suggested that we call him to come pick up the car to have it serviced. We were impressed with their intended customer service! So, when it was time for the Altima's first service, we called Blake.and got no response. We called again...no response. Finally, we called the dealership and aaked to talk to Blake. Turns out he had been calling the wrong phone number..?. Following that first service, Blake suggested that we take the car to their newly purchased Nissan dealership in Staunton, which was closer to our home. He said he'd throw in a car detailing and would call the Staunton dealership/service to set it up. When the time came for our oil change, my husband took it to the Staunton dealership and confirmed that we were to have it detailed. They said no one from the Charlottesville dealership called and they did not have us in for a detail. When Mark called Blake, he did not return our calls. Mark talked to Mike Johnson who said that for our trouble he would make it right and send someone for our car for detailing in Cville. He even said that he would throw in some extras. The car was picked up several hours later than promised ruining already made plans for the afternoon and the car was returned a day later with the worst detailing job I've ever seen (dirt under the seats, outside was still dirty, etc.) and guess what...? No extras as Mike had promised! We are done with Colonial Nissan. We were so impressed during the buying experience, but would not recommend them to anyone. No service after the sale! More
