Very poor experience with service Took my car in for a water leak on the back seat floor back in August. It was soaking wet and made the car smell terrible. Took me 4 phone calls and voicemails to actually get an appointment the first time. Once I got an appointment, I was told to come back two days later when the water leak guy was in to look at it. After taking the day off from work, I took it back for him to look at it. He said it was a problem with the AC line backing up. They said they flushed it out and the problem was fixed. A week or so later, the floor was soaking wet again. Made another appointment on Wednesday 09/04 and, once again, I was told to come back again on Friday when the water leak guy is was in. I started to get upset at this point because I have already taken off from work 3 times to get this problem fixed. I asked if they would give a rental car for the time being, so I didn’t have to miss anymore work. They were able to accommodate that, at no charge, which I greatly appreciated. After a week of having the vehicle at C Harper, they finally determined the issue was a broken seal near the trunk that was not properly fixed/missed when C Harper body shop did repairs when I was rear-ended in June. I picked up the vehicle yesterday, started driving it home and noticed the smell was still lingering. I check the floor where the water was coming in, it was dry, but I noticed white and green mold growing underneath the driver seat on the floor. I drove the vehicle back to C Harper on Thursday 09/12 and expressed my dissatisfaction with the service. I am not sure why no one noticed that there was mold growing and why it was not properly cleaned before being returned to me... They were very clearly told and shown that it was leaking water on the inside of the car. The whole experience overall with CHarper service department was extremely poor from the beginning and I am very hesitant to have my vehicle serviced there again unless absolutely necessary. More
