My experience at Byers was great. From the minute I walked in, John Hess made me feel comfortable and wasn't afraid to give me his opinions without being pushy. I wasn't sure what I wanted and he reco walked in, John Hess made me feel comfortable and wasn't afraid to give me his opinions without being pushy. I wasn't sure what I wanted and he recommended a few items and introduced me to the Prius V and leasing as an option to consider. I didn't end up with either (the Prius sunroof doesn't open!), but really appreciated the options. John was understanding and listened to me and was patient while I decided on a car. I had two trade-in's as well and everyone was very honest and fair in dealing with those; even with a Car Fax issue I had to correct on one of them. The process was fairly painless and simple and I appreciate everyone's friendliness and honesty throughout the whole process. It is intimidating looking and making a decision on your own, but I felt comfortable in asking John's help. This was a tough situation for me for personal reasons and the entire staff was kind and supportive even though they didn't know why or how much I needed it. Recommended! More

I’m over fifty and have bought a lot of cars and trucks and never have I ever experienced this kind of friendly, courteous, and honest dealing. Bill Smith went out of his way to sell us a truck. He beat every dealer’s price on the new truck and gave us the most for our trade. When you go to other dealers they are like vultures waiting to prey on you and fighting each other to get a sale. You don't see this at this dealership and this is what really makes this dealer stand out from among the rest. What an atmosphere to witness and see. The whole dealership works together to work the sale and trade. It’s like a big family of friends. We are from New York and you wouldn't see that here! We don't know anyone at this dealership. But it's like family and you have known them all your life. Other sales men come up to you and talk to you like you are family or you've know them all your life. Not trying to steal a sale from their fellow peers like they do in New York. This was what made this dealership stand out the most for us. The friendship that was made is built on honesty and trust. It’s really nice to save money on a car but it's nice to enjoy the process of not being pressured or cheated. The customer service is like non other at Byers. When I was a kid I can remember my dad taking me along to purchase his boat of a car and the salesman offering us sodas. I guess "Mo" Mike Ohler has that old school mentality. I was astounded when he offered me a soda to drink during my buying process. Not only that, but Mo knew what he was doing and got the ball rolling. I didn't buy right away as I wanted to negotiate the pricing and Mo understood that. His patience was excellent. Mo knew that going to the grass roots of customer service is what it's about - not pressuring, and allowing me to feel as comfortable as possible. The quality of work was excellent and precise. There was nothing hidden and I did not feel pressured. Matt Darling was great in the finance department. Everything was in order and correct. A few months later I even purchased an extended vehicle warranty due to the reseach I had done. Understand this, my wife has a Honda and they also make great vehicles. Honda Marysville told us the Toyota extended warranty plan is HANDS DOWN the best there is. This came from the finance manager at Honda Marysville! He even suggested that I get it! So I did. It ceratinly makes a difference when people seem to enjoy their job and know what they're doing. The friendliness of ALL the staff at Byers Toyota was great. I even found out that the truck I bought was owned by the service agent, Josh Lewis. Josh had installed an aftermarket electronic braking box and said he still had the instuction manual to it. Josh actually brought it in and gave it to me the week after buying the truck! It would have been very easy for him not to care, but he did. My overall experience with the dealership was above and beyond excellent. I have referred several of my friends to this dealership who have purchased Toyota vehicles and will continue to do so as long as Byers Toyota continues to make customer service number one. More
