What a relief!!! I went to Burns Ford, only the second time I had visited as I am a newcomer to the area. I had a VERY unusual knocking coming from the engine compart I went to Burns Ford, only the second time I had visited as I am a newcomer to the area. I had a VERY unusual knocking coming from the engine compartment, but appearing to be under the dashboard. I had previously met the Service advisor and he seemed to be quite knowledgeable. But this problem seemed unique. After talking for just a few minutes he seemed to have narrowed down the possibilities and made me feel confident that he had a handle on the problem. He described two possible conditions, one very complex and expensive, one more simple. I gave him the go ahead. The mechanic dug into the problem, a very unique one according to Google research, and the solved the problem quickly and inexpensively. I am so grateful for the Service Advisor and the mechanic. Best car buying experience ever. I went with my mother to look for a low mileage Ford Fusion that she had seen online. When we got to the dealership, we were informed that that car w I went with my mother to look for a low mileage Ford Fusion that she had seen online. When we got to the dealership, we were informed that that car was no longer available. We test drove a 2014 Ford Focus that we intended on buying until Carl went over a few options and the possibility of getting a new car. My mom's credit was good enough to get a very good deal on a brand new Ford Focus! Without Carl's help, we would have never known about the great promotion that Ford was running. With his assistance, my mom was able to get a brand new car for the first time in her life! Not once did we ever feel pressured to make a hasty decision or feel like we were getting the stereotypical "used car salesman" pitch. Everyone we encountered was tremendously hospitable and made my mother and I feel at ease. Along with Carl, we were approached by Mr. Philbeck who talked with us and made us feel very welcome.
