I whole-heartedly recommend Gary Abrams. My husband and I knew we wanted a 2012 Kia Soul. We wanted to stay within a budget so we were looking for the best deal. Our insurance company has an auto buying service helped us get quotes from various dealerships. Of all the dealerships we spoke with, Burlington Kia worked hardest for our business. Gary Abrams was the most responsive sales person I think we've ever worked with. I used to be in sales, so I have pretty high standards for other sales people. It's a tough balance to be eager enough to help someone without being over-aggressive or a pushy sales person. Well, Gary strikes the balance wonderfully. I highly recommend you give Gary a call if you're looking for a Kia. Good cars. Great safety ratings and super gas mileage. Thanks Gary for all your help! More
From the time I walked into the dealership and met Gary Abrams he made me feel like I knew him my whole life I felt he was going to do whatever it would take to make my car buying experience enjoyable. I Abrams he made me feel like I knew him my whole life I felt he was going to do whatever it would take to make my car buying experience enjoyable. I was not a ideal customer my situation was difficult I explained this to Gary and he didn't even blink although I had stop to two other dealerships and they would not even offer me a seat without making me feel that there was no hope for me to buy a car. Even though my situation was not going to be easy to get a bank approval as I was waiting I started to worry Gary could see this and still reminded me that the manager was going to do whatever he could do to get me approved Gary never looked like the deal was not going to happen he stayed with me until deal was approved I'm not sure who was more happier me or Gary but the funny thing is he was happy for me and I believe that. Thank you Gary Abrams for not just being a salesman but a real great person that didn't let my situation determine my customer service that you provided to me. More

Where do I start? The only thing these guys are good at are being sneaky, grimy car salesmen. I called ahead regarding a used Honda Ridgeline I saw advertised online. They had 3+ hours notice before we w are being sneaky, grimy car salesmen. I called ahead regarding a used Honda Ridgeline I saw advertised online. They had 3+ hours notice before we were coming but didn’t even bother to wipe the bird poop off of it before we came. Not the best first impression, but we just joked about it and moved on. At first I was happy with John, he was very friendly and remained that way throughout the process, overall he’s not the main complaint here. However, as the price negotiations continued, while we were repeatedly assured they “aren’t like the rest of the dealerships” out there, they pulled all the usual tricks, forcing us as much as they could to concentrate on the monthly payments rather than the bottom line price. During one of the long waits for the manager to “work with the numbers” we were given the impression they were working with the banks to get the final numbers we had discussed, then the next thing I know we’re being brought in to sign off on the paperwork even though the final write up and cost was never brought back out to us. Somehow the APR had gone up from what we discussed and the length of the loan increased by 15 MONTHS!!! They barely dropped the price as they had implied they would, then tried to compensate our complaints by increasing the time on the extended warranty they were trying to get us to buy, of course not by dropping any prices. We declined any additional warranties they tried their hardest to push, then we decided to settle for the offer in front of us, since the price wasn’t terrible, just not what we wanted (plus it had already been 3+ hours and we had a babysitter at home!). So, we left slightly unsatisfied but accepted it as it was, until… While we were “negotiating” they brought the car into detailing. By the time we left it was dark so, while my husband noticed strange streaking, it seemed like it was probably from a quick/poor wipe-down job and in the dark we couldn’t tell beyond that. It rained the next 2 days, getting the car pretty dirty, so the following weekend (less than a week after purchased) he hand washed it (no abrasives what-so-ever) and it revealed large sections ALL OVER the car where the paint finish had essentially been sanded off, no shine, rough to the touch. It did NOT look like that when we first inspected it prior to it going into their detailing (which we did in great depth). Clearly while in detailing someone used an abrasive polish or wax and/or a pad that had dried out and essentially sanded off the paint finish. We called and they said bring it right in, however once there, they were much less receptive to our complaints. They did take it back into detailing, claiming their guys could buff it out. The manager was sure to state to my husband that they would not be “giving him” a new paint job, if that’s what he’s after. He said he’s not “after” anything; he just wanted it to look like it did when he agreed to purchase it, before their detailers caused damage. Again, when it was finished, it was too dark outside to do a good review, so the manager said to call back the next day if we had any further issues once seen in the day light. While the paint issue was improved (not great, but acceptable)once we got home we discovered a larger issue… a brand new crack in the rear bumper, a large gap between the rear corner panel and the rear light, and the capping to the bumper no longer sitting properly on top of the bumper… clearly someone backed into something while it was there to be “fixed”. My husband called immediately, speaking to yet another manager this time who was less than helpful, denying any culpability on their part, claiming they did us the “courtesy” of detailing it again, as if it was a favor to repair the damage they originally caused. Throughout the numerous phone calls to follow (which they took days to return each time) they were nothing but rude and unhelpful, implying we were ungrateful for what they had done for us and claiming we probably caused the damage ourselves. In the end, they did nothng more to resolve the issue, just wrote us off. I will be sure to spread the word about what everyone can expect from their “customer service” policies. Walked that whole lot and the sales persons never even came out to ask if we needed any help until we were leaving, even though they were standing in the doorway. So we left I asked my wife if she wanted to stop one last place, as we were passing Burlington Kia. And that is when we met Gary. Just as we got out of the car he asked if we needed any help. What a big difference from the last place. Could't find one on there lot, so he check the computer and found a 2003 Dodge Durango but it was at there sister lot so off we were. To my surprisewe were at the same lot that we had just left Burlington Chevrolet. Boy I don't want anything to do with this place, so back at Burlington Kia I explained to Gary that we were just there. But Gary has been so professional thruout the whole process. It was quick and easy an no B.S. Don't really want to help out the other lot one bit, but I have to give all the credit to Gary for making this car sale. It has been a pleasure meeting an doing business with all the people at Burlington Kia I will be telling all the people I know to check this place out. More
