Jean Claude honestly admitted they were rolling the remaining lease payments into my new quote, resulting in a $599/mo payment that ignored the internet price I came for. I told Jean Claude it would make more sense to wait until the lease ends this August, and then began walking out. As I was leaving, I politely spoke to my associate Edgart about Jean Claude’s honesty and kindness. At that moment, GSM Joe Mazzaferro barreled out of his office. He was aggressively argumentative, claiming my authorized online soft credit pull was ‘illegal’ (it isn't) and that another dealership's accurate figures were wrong. When I calmly suggested he ‘dial down’ his energy, he lost his composure entirely, shouting for me to 'get the f*** out' in front of staff and a showroom of customers. As a Tier 1 credit buyer (760+ score), I’m appalled by his ego and lack of professional knowledge. Joe is a major liability to an otherwise hardworking team. I left and immediately reported this behavior to Kia Corporate. Great staff, but stay away until they address the toxic behavior of certain people in management. More

Terrible experience at Burlington Kia, NJ. They contacted me first, gave me specific numbers over the phone, and I told them clearly I’m driving 1 hour 30 minutes to get there. ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. Spark notes below: —Unnecessary “global wide” market adjustment on every model coupled with sticker price side lines that add unnecessary add ons. Over $7000 added to the MSRP of a car for nothing. Example: Added $3,995 on top of MSRP as a market adjustment - just because. $450 add on for nitrogen filled tires - you can get this free at local vendors. —Test drives are a joke. They take you out onto 130 north, up a half mile to a jug handle, back down south a mile to another jug handle and then north into the dealership. All-in-all less, this “test drive” was less than 5 minutes in a straight line. —Asked to see the condition of a certified preowned car and made clear we weren’t planning to buy today. They insisted we had to drive it. This “test drive” was literally a circle around the dealership staying in the lot the entire time. —Refused to give pricing unless you commit to buying a car. —After the salesman talked in circles dodging the direct repeated question for pricing on two cars. Sales manager Jason became involved. Apparently using the word “No.” as a complete sentence is being quote “combative”. —Salesman called back and left two voicemails with family member attempting to gaslight her on the events and what lead to the outcome referring to me as a quote “problem” and quote “wanting to talk this through again just us”. Turns out saying no to buying a car without an understanding of price isn’t just “combative” it’s also being a “problem.” The lack of professionalism and attempts to take advantage of the unknowing buyer is astounding and disgusting. Do not buy a car here. More

Sales department is very helpful and generous, however the service department is rude and inconsiderate. Long story short I was sold a Lemon and its been sitting in the service shop at Kia Burlington for the service department is rude and inconsiderate. Long story short I was sold a Lemon and its been sitting in the service shop at Kia Burlington for 2-3 weeks, nobody at Kia thought to notify me that I would be receiving a new engine covered under warranty until I called them for the 3rd time a week into it being there. I was initially told the engine was on the way and had been ordered on that call. Well…. That was a great sounding lie because when I called a week later to check on status of this they said the engine was on backorder and they somehow cant give me an ETA on when the engine will arrive to the shop. This is very peculiar to me in itself, but the fact the lady(s) I spoke with on the phone have nothing helpful to say is shocking. At least if you’re gonna be unhelpful maybe you should perhaps change the tone of your voice. Its not my fault you don’t enjoy your job. And when I asked if I am able to get help for a loaner or rental even they told me they don’t do any of these things which is contradicting what I have read online about your warranty policies. It’s cool though I’ll just struggle as a working student and walk around for miles everywhere I have to be for the next month or two like I’ve been doing. Don’t buy here if you have other options. More
