Terrible experience. I talked with Ashley via email, text and multiple phone calls about a specific vehicle we were interested in buying. I made an appointment for the same day, and she was aware that my hus and multiple phone calls about a specific vehicle we were interested in buying. I made an appointment for the same day, and she was aware that my husband and I were driving from over an hour away. When we got to the dealership, we found out that the car we had discussed had been sold the day before - and in fact was never even IN BURLINGTON (it had been at a Kia dealership in Greensboro, apparently)! The sales team could not have cared less that we had driven from out of town for a vehicle that was never there to begin with. They didn't even offer to call the Greensboro dealership for us - just said "oh, sorry - you can call them if you want." I understand that mistakes happen but the lack of customer service was appalling. I will never be returning and would absolutely not recommend Burlington Kia. More
I was visiting NC from out of state and had to have some work done on my car. I was very pleased with the service and personnel. Extremely negative experience w/Burlington Kia. I corresponded with Ashley Lamberson about a specific certified pre-owned vehicle listed on their website. Before I was able to come see it, I noticed corresponded with Ashley Lamberson about a specific certified pre-owned vehicle listed on their website. Before I was able to come see it, I noticed that it was no longer listed on their website. When I asked Ashley about it, she assured me it was still available, and said it wasn't showing because of website problems. I made an appointment to come see the car, and when Ashley called me that day to confirm my appointment I again asked her if it was available and she assured me it was. Once I arrived one hour later I was handed off to another salesperson who told me "Unfortunately the car you were interested in has just been sold." Really, sold in one hour, on a Wednesday morning with not a single customer in sight? It's now obvious that the car sold at least a few days before and was removed from the website for that reason. Ashley lied directly to me multiple times just to get me in the dealership. Why would I buy from a dealership more than an hour from home that lied to me? I can buy from an honest one just a few minutes from home. Worst car dealership experience I've had in years. More
If I could reduce a star , I would do that. They have a good on call team which make the customers down to see the vehicle but then it completely changes. If you working with Chekeria , she is one of the knowledgeable staff and she talks politely and listens to customer demands. On the other hand, there is a guy name Ben(Here where everything goes wrong) This guy tries to pressurize you. People management - 0 I was interested in the vehicle, he started giving me fake numbers plus the FAKE REBATE which was like kia gives a rebate of 8.9k , he rebates me with 5k. and adds a taxable fees over the taxes saying this will go in his pocket to work with me. When I tried to consult him that what you are offering is wrong and this is not possible, he gives me BS saying this is what he gets from the system, so he is trying to cheat the system basically and get the remaining money in his own pocket. I was still calm and I informed the sales woman that what he is doing is wrong and could you give me the new numbers on email but then nobody responded and when I called he SAID THAT HE NEVER INFORMED ME OF THE WRONG DISCOUNTS. I have the details with me lol. Then I thought I will try to talk to the manager but this guy is not letting me pass to talk to manager because he is a fraud. More
