Annoying Buchanan is the WORST car dealership period. Since leasing a car off them 2.5 years ago, I have been bombarded with phone calls from them trying to ge Buchanan is the WORST car dealership period. Since leasing a car off them 2.5 years ago, I have been bombarded with phone calls from them trying to get me to trade early 25 times. I asked them to take me off their list several times, yet they continue to call. I then started telling them I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR OFF YOUR COMPANY AGAIN... Still getting call. I call and talked to their sales manager and told him. He was very sorry this had happened, and said he would have me taken off their list. He even offered me a free car detailing, which I refused. I want nothing to do with them ever again. That was 30 days ago, and yet I have had 3 more calls from them since. I am now very blunt with them. I asked this morning to talk to the owner, operator said he doesn't talk to people, his manager do. I asked for the sales manager and he wasn't available. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF DEALERSHIP. They lied to me when I bought a new caravan off them. I told them I wanted automatic headlights. The head guy said no problem. If we can order it this way, or modify it, or take it to an electronic place in Hagerstown, we will take care of it. So I bought the car. Next I get a call from the guy saying quote " We can't order it, we can do it, and if you get it done in hagerstown, your warranty will be void". Run from these people or you to will be harassed by them. I have bought or leased cars off several other dealers, and none of them are this aggressive. I am now calling thje BBB and lodging a complaint against them, and will brocast this on social media everywhere I can find a place to type it. JERKS More

Great Overall Experience I found the truck I liked online. After I found out which engine was in this truck, inspected it thoroughly and I took a test drive, I knew that this I found the truck I liked online. After I found out which engine was in this truck, inspected it thoroughly and I took a test drive, I knew that this was the vehicle for me. This previously-owned truck was in excellent condition and my salesperson did a great job of informing me about all of its features. She also told me about all of the benefits and extras that I would have by dealing with Buchanan. I decided to buy if the trade deal was attractive. I accepted the deal and found that this vehicle-buying process was not painful at all. The sales and settlement personnel were all very friendly and efficient. Thanks gang for this great buying experience! More

Good start & Grand words but poor service overall The sales process took a very long time, but was processed. Before leaving, the truck would not shift into 4-wheel which required the prep team to wo The sales process took a very long time, but was processed. Before leaving, the truck would not shift into 4-wheel which required the prep team to work on and some minor grease smudges were present on passenger side door upon arriving home. The deal included an agreement for Sprayed in bed liner and wheel to wheel side boards. After the appointment for the accessories, the wrong sideboards were installed and paint had been gouged during re-installation of the tail gate. The sales person Laura did not call or make attempt to resolve the issues until I finally went to the dealership in person. At that time, she and the General Sales Manager, Chuck, acted shocked and seemed willing to address the issues. The GM asked if I would like the paint to be repaired or just touche up. I of course replied, repaired. After picking up the truck after the second appointment, the paint had only been touched up, the side boards had still not been ordered and the interior driver side area was covered in shop dirt and grease. The dealership has not made any attempt to honor the agreement for the sideboards, and have made not any effort to follow up or resolve issues. At this point, I would not be comfortable taking my truck back for concern of what else may be done to it. More
Buying experience was positive, service experience POOR Purchased a 2014 Ford F150 on Friday, November 23. Woke up the next morning (less than 24 hours), it was raining and discovered a leak in the rear dr Purchased a 2014 Ford F150 on Friday, November 23. Woke up the next morning (less than 24 hours), it was raining and discovered a leak in the rear driver side of the cab. Contacted the sales person who I communicated through and was told "we will take care of it." Took the truck to the dealership, they said they resealed the 3rd brake light. Next rain we had, it was still leaking. Called the dealership again, had to wait a week until the next service opening. Took the truck on a Monday afternoon. I had to call on a Wednesday to get an update (because they did not call me) and was told they did a 'water test' and found the leak to coming in through the rear window and that needed to be replaced. At that point I was told I would owe $100. I asked why I would owe when they obviously sold me the vehicle with the defect. They said it was not under warranty, but would do the repair in 'good faith' as if it was under warranty, but would still have to pay $100 deductible. Tried to still explain that the leak was obviously there when they sold the truck to me, but they did not care and said I could pick it up without the repair or pay $100. So, now they have me in a tough position and really with no other options. I told them to do the repair. Picked the truck up on Thursday, paid the $100, and guess what....rain on Saturday and it's STILL LEAKING. I now have a call through to the service department and waiting for their response. I'll see if they actually fix the issue or just try to charge me additional money. In the meantime here are my thoughts: *Poor customer care *Does not stand behind their products *Service Manager - Mike - acted like he couldn't care less about taking care of the issue...just standing behind me paying and additional $100 *Quality of work is obviously poor (did they actually reseal the 3rd brake light, did they actually replace the back window, did they do another water test after the 'repair'???) I would love to have a direct conversation with the owner because I was told there is not a GM, after the department managers its just to owner. If I was the owner, I would want to stand behind my products (new or used). Perhaps my review will change if I can get a good response and get a resolution to the issue without paying more out of pocket. Truly a shame, because at first I thought I was having a positive car buying experience....now I'm here dealing with this issue for almost 4 weeks. More
