The service center is very welcoming! If you are waiting, there are plenty of amenities. I didn’t use the kids area but there’s a life sized cardboard tree trunk there. My A/C stopped working last week, so I made an appointment for April 5th for a HVAC service, priced on the website for $ 69.99. When I get there I told Jeff how my A/C stopped working last week, I was then informed about my warranty or lack there of, and that they’d have to charge me $150 just to look at it. My vehicle is 3 & 1/2 years old with 33000 miles. 95% of Subarus sold 10 years ago are still on the road today, why is mine falling apart after only 3 years, with the warranty conveniently expired? What I thought was the next ridiculous question was if I had an extended warranty. It’s a Subaru, I shouldn’t need an extended warranty. A $26000 vehicle with a 5 year payment plan should be more reliable . Now I’m desperate to get rid of the vehicle, but I don’t want to sell it to anyone I know. It was my 1st Subaru, and as of right now, it’s my last. I wish I’d stuck with a Toyota or a Mazda, now I’m paying the price. Please, anyone out there looking for a vehicle, stay away from Subaru. My last visit to the Subaru service department was 3 months ago for an oil change. Having made an appointment a week before, other people arrived after me and left before me, I waited close to 2 hours for an oil change. I was then approached and told I needed a break flush and a tire alignment for $406 on top of the $120 oil change and tire rotation. I want to congratulate the entire service team for taking advantage of me , by making me feel I purchased a paperweight on wheels. I’m pretty sure my vehicle is held together with spit and used bubblegum. Thank you for your hard work. It takes a lot to swindle money from hard working people. More
