I seldom take the time to express my appreciation in writing, but the present situation is rather extraordinary, and requires something more than a verbal token of appreciation. After my Subaru Forester suffered catastrophic engine-failure, I was confronted with the gloomy prospect of losing my car, or having to pay the hefty price-tag for a new engine. An expense, in all honesty, I could not afford. After calling the Subaru 1-800 number and explaining my predicament, the company did the unthinkable: they decided to help me. No, they decided to cover 75% of the repair cost. This offer left me feeling utterly flabbergasted—in the best way possible. Never in my life has a company treated me with such generosity and good-will. I cannot thank the staff at Subaru enough (Thank you, Erin!)—and this includes the corporate arbiters of my case. I will henceforth become Subaru's good herald. Yours truly, Paul. More
