Preparing car for Journey I made an appointment online for my forester to be serviced for an upcoming move out-of-state. Because my forester is a 15 year old vehicle I was glad to see the mechanic that usually works on my car - working on my car (I'm sorry I don't know his name). He did some of the things that I asked (battery change, synthetic oil change, tire rotation) and he suggested some issues that needed to be addressed - which I was glad he pointed out. Other things (some routine maintenance) that I sometimes put off until the next service schedule I also had completed. Because of guys like my mechanic I feel safe making this journey in my forester. Saved me a lot of headaches I had just had a new battery installed and the car still would not start the next day. They determined that I accidentally had left the ceiling light I had just had a new battery installed and the car still would not start the next day. They determined that I accidentally had left the ceiling light switched on in the rear, and it would drain down the battery if the car was not used for a few days. Jason was very professional, and found I had not used my final oil change credit on my initial purchase, so I got a free oil change out of this too. With car washed, interior sanitized, and car delivered, this truly was taking good care of the customer. Thank you!! More
