I went to other dealer ships since Browns did not have the specific color we thought we wanted for our minivan and always left upset with salesmen calling me and texting me after for days trying to get me to come back. I was a bit upset since I didn't tell those other dealers it was ok to text me and I'm still in the dark ages and pay by the text. Browns was not like that at all, they were friendly, straightforward and knowledgeable and I am so glad I didn't like the color we searched for and the exact model we were looking for was on the Browns lot all that time. I went to Browns at 10am to get my trade in appraised and look at the car for the first time and took delivery of a new minivan early that afternoon. They gave me the straightforward fair price I expected and there were no surprises. I know if I went back to the other dealers they would try to match the price, but I would rather give my business to Browns. Best of all I know if i have a problem their excellent service staff will take care of it. I now have two cars I bought from this dealership and could not be happier. I will not go to any other dealership from this point on! More

After Dealing with Mr. Skeen I can truly say that he was fair and reasonable in negotiating a price for the vehicle. I must say that at no time did I feel uncomfortable or that someone was trying to get over. More importantly, he genuinely was a "car guy" and knew about the different Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep products that were for sale, not to mention the competition. Having purchased or helped friends buy at least 6 cars in the last two years I must say that Mr. Skeen is by far the best and most honest salesman I have come across. I would definitely recommend that you walk into Brown's Jeep and ask specifically for Mr. Skeen, wait if you to have to. You won't regret it. More

My wiife and I went down to purchase a Dodge Charger... As the title states, my wife and I went down to Brown's in Patchogue to look at/purchase a new Charger. I used the True Car report and found the one As the title states, my wife and I went down to Brown's in Patchogue to look at/purchase a new Charger. I used the True Car report and found the one that I wanted. A 2014 Charger RT with AWD and a 5.7l HEMI. Base model. I was contacted by Jeff Dipetro-internert sales and he called my phone and left a voicemail stating "We have several vehicles to choose from that fit your criteria". My criteria being a base model Charger RT with AWD and a 5.7l HEMI engine. I call him up and set up an appointment to see the vehicle. I get there with my wife and 8 month year old daughter and we talk to the salesman. Immediately he want to set us up on a test drive. I decline and we go right to business. I show him my TRUE CAR slip and come to find out that the CAR IS NOT ON THE LOT. They have several models of the RTMAX which has options that I don't desire. This is your basic BAIT AND SWITCH. So my wife and I say thank you but since the car is not here and your dealership informed me that it was, we are taking our business someplace else. The salesman walked away and came back with the manager and the internet sales representative. He immediately became very displeased and defensive at my accusation. When he explained that "Most of the orders that come across my desk are wish list." I knew that this wasn't the dealership for me. I explained that when he left me a voicemail he told me that he had "several cars that fit my criteria" means that you have the particular vehicle in stock. The dealership did not. Basic dealer 101. Get them in the door. I reiterated that this is the model I want, this is the price that is promised. But since it was not there, I walked away feeling that I was taking advantage of and having my time purposely wasted. I will never recommend anyone to go there ever, I don't care if the are dealer of the year because they did wrong by one customer who will never get those wasted hours back. More
