I had my Jeep there for a few issues and also for the recalls. The bill came out to a little over $2400 which I paid. My husband looked at the bill, he went back to the dealer & asked the parts dept and recalls. The bill came out to a little over $2400 which I paid. My husband looked at the bill, he went back to the dealer & asked the parts dept and asked for a print out of the prices for the parts that were used to fix the issues. EVERY single part was overcharged on our bill that we paid. He took our bill and the paper with the parts pricing to the manager and showed him the issue. No apology, no explanation. He credited the credit card we used for the difference and that was it. I can imagine how many people they do this too. If my husband didn’t do what he did we wouldn’t have known they were over charging us. $322 was the total amount they overcharged us. Who’s pocketing that money? Very shady business practices. They will never fix my car again, and I will never buy a car from them again. Very disgraceful. More

I wish I could give zero stars based on my latest experience at Brown's. I've leased 2 other Jeeps from this dealership and thought I was treated fairly both times. This last experience though was b experience at Brown's. I've leased 2 other Jeeps from this dealership and thought I was treated fairly both times. This last experience though was by far the WORST in any car I EVER leased (and I have leased over 10 cars over the past 15 years). For those that are wary of 'used car salesman', if they send you to the dealership location up the road(I think they call it 1900 Medford) to lease a new car DO NOT GO. It's a total scam. They say customer first, but it's sales first, customer last. My advice is customer be aware. My biggest complaint is that as part of the deal they were buying my 2019 Jeep and I was told they would make the last 2 payments and I would not have to worry about any other bill. They reneged on this without even mentioning to me. They made good on the last 2 payments after I called and complained but stuck me with the wear and tear cost of over $700. I had three instances where my instincts told me to go elsewhere and I should have listened to them. I'm limited in characters so this is a quick summary. First I made an appointment at the dealership and when I arrived the salesman was confused and told me I didn't have an appt (which I did). After some time he then told me there was a mix up and I had to go up the road to the other location. That location not only looked like a used car dealership but the sales associates acted like it was one. When I pulled up I said to my wife 'Let's go someplace else'. It was like a frat house with everyone hanging out at the front desk and music blasting. The place just looked 'messy'. Not to mention the chair I sat in the salesman office was on a weather tech cargo liner for some odd reason. I felt if I moved too quickly I would tilt over. Second was when negotiating the deal. Scott the salesman initially told me he can get me into a new Jeep Grand Cherokee for the same payment as my old one AND buy my old Jeep from me so I wouldn't need to make any further lease payments and no hassle with wear and tear. With the first lease offer he didn't even come close to the old payment. I honestly didn't think a more expensive truck WOULD be the same but was surprised he did not as someone who should know. Then he tried to pull a fast one by showing me all these different deals which made no sense. I'm really good with numbers and called him out on it. It was like he was trying to confuse us which I wanted no part of. At this point we told Scott we were going to leave and come back another time. He said hold on and came back with a clean set of numbers and the deal I was looking for. In between all of this he was more interested in his car getting a part put on it from the service shop rather than the customer sitting across his desk. Unprofessional is too light a term for this salesman. Last one was the one I REALLY should have listened to my instinct. I made an appointment to pick up my truck at 12:00 and made it clear I had a 1:00 meeting that I needed to call into for my job. Scott told me I would be out of there in 30 minutes. Well Scott showed up over 40 minutes late and blamed my insurance company. I know this to be not true since we both solidified the insurance at 10:45 AM. He then blamed the girl who does the paperwork at the other office. Again just unprofessional. I was now steaming mad and told him to forget the deal. I then spoke to Rich in the finance department and he assured me they can get me complete quickly. I had to rush through the whole process of signing the paper work. This is where they took advantage and why I got stuck with the excess wear bill of over $700. In the rush to finalize and get me out they failed to mention they were not buying my truck. If they would have told me that I would NOT have signed the deal. I would have walked away. To add insult to injury I was not told one thing about the truck before driving off the lot. I had to figure it out myself. PLUS I had to explain to my boss why I was late which did not go over well. More

Awful experience I recently bought (financed) a 2018 white Jeep Wrangler with 6,000 and change miles on the vehicle, it was my first time buying a new/used vehicle. Du I recently bought (financed) a 2018 white Jeep Wrangler with 6,000 and change miles on the vehicle, it was my first time buying a new/used vehicle. During my test drive with my salesman, when I exceeded 30 miles per hour I lost complete power steering. I asked my salesman about this and he told me "it's just a jeep thing," that clearly was not the case. I believed the salesman because I don't know anything about Jeeps. I eventually purchased the vehicle later on the day, a few days later the problem continued to happen, I called browns service department and brought the vehicle in, I received my vehicle back within in 2 hours, the service department explained that some cable wires had to be adjusted, I was sent home in the Jeep. 2 weeks later the same issued occurred, I called browns again and brought my Jeep back in for service, my Jeep was in the shop for 3 months from March 4th, 2020 to June 2nd, 2020. A bunch of parts were replaced. A week later the same problem happened and another problem on top of the power steering issue, along with losing power steering after exceeding 30mph, now when I put my car in reverse or drive my Jeep is jumping to get into gear. This is the third time I have brought my Jeep in for the same problem and now another problem of top of it, this can now be considered and Lemonlaw case, my Jeep is a lemon car. Not only was I sold a faulty vehicle I was sent home 3 times in a dangerous vehicle. I have been making payments on a vehicle that I am not driving, I've had a loaner jeep for more then 3 months. They answered every question I had and the negotiation was easy. This was a no pressure environment which is rare with a dealership on Long Island. Next time I buy, they will be the first stop and I would recommend this dealership to anyone I know looking for a new vehicle. More
