If I could give negative 5 stars I absolutely would. Brown’s Jeep of Patchogue is a disgrace. They are irresponsible and negligent in their service department. Over the summer of 2020 we took my car in Brown’s Jeep of Patchogue is a disgrace. They are irresponsible and negligent in their service department. Over the summer of 2020 we took my car in for a repair of the catalytic converter that was still under warranty. After three weeks of of being razzle dazzled by their incompetent customer service agents, they finally admitted to breaking the head gasket because they couldn’t get the bolts off to replace the catalytic converter. It then took two more weeks for a total of five weeks for something that should have taken at most, two days. The entire time the customer service was terrible. No one ever calls back and they couldn’t care less that you are without a vehicle and missing work. Fast forward five months later, the car completely overheats and there is oil leaking everywhere under the hood. We had it towed to a non jeep mechanic who said it was a faulty repair of the work that was supposedly done over the summer. The work was done poorly and this negligence is unacceptable. We then took the car back to Brown’s for repair because we were told by Brown’s that since it was their mistake, they are the only dealership that can fix it. Well, it has been another 5 weeks and our car is still not fixed. No one returns our calls and the general manager is aware of the situation but has done absolutely nothing. Brown’s of Patchogue is by far the most disrespectful, neglectful and unprofessional business I have ever encountered. They have not offered a loaner car and have ignored all our calls. If you have read this far, I urge you- DO NOT BUY OR BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO BROWNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If you don’t mind waiting months for repairs, or if you enjoy being disrespected, ignored and put in dangerous situations- by all means, give them a try. I think the kids around the block running a lemonade stand would do a better job at managing this joke of a dealership. More

I brought my jeep grand Cherokee in for an oil change and to have a recall item taken care of. A service person meet me by my car before I could get out. DISHONORABLE BUSINESS!! Was recently here to trade in my used car for a 2021 Grand Cherokee. Found the truck we wanted and confirmed that we wanted to move forward. My lease is up in a few months on my Chevy Equinox so I've been looking into another SUV but a little bigger with a 3rd row. We stopped at Browns to check out the Durango. Walked into the showroom, salesman Harry asked to help us we told him I have a few months and we're just looking. He said no problem go down about 5 rows there are a few, if you want the keys to check it out get the number on the windshield and I'll get you the keys. Several were unlocked, we checked them out. Wanted to take one for a test drive(as I've had no problem doing at any other dealer over the last 2 months). We walked back in the showroom. Harry asked what we thought of the Durango? My husband said she likes it can we take one for a test drive? He said " you think your gonna remember in a few months?" I really wanted to think he was kidding. I told him I'd like to make a decision before my lease is up. And he told me we have a long time to go. I bit my tongue, said thank you and started walking out. He started to tell me if I wanted to wait... I said I'm good really, thanks. Won't ever go there again! I've never had an issue at a dealership. Incredibly rude! I'll test drive at another dealer and give them the sale. Every other dealership has just handed me the keys. One time they took a picture of my license. Every other time, keys and go. Just wow!! We have never been so insulted. More
