We visited this dealership with the idea of purchasing a new FIAT 500. While looking around in the showroom, Roberta Panos greeted us and then let us continue looking. After a few minutes I began asking questions and she was extremely helpful and knowledgable, without trying to push us into a purchase. We went for a test-drive and when we arrived back at the showroom I said I had to make a few decisions about which model to purchase and we left. I spoke to her on the phone to inquire about available cars and she quickly called back. A couple of days later we returned to see Roberta to purchase a car. When we arrived, the preparation of the car was a little behind schedule, but while we waited Roberta never forgot we were there, even while dealing with other customers. Overall, this was easily the best new-car buying experience we've ever had and will recommend the dealership and Roberta Panos. Thanks -- Joe & Randa More
I came to Browns Jeep because I was interested in purchasing a new Grand Cherokee. I made it quite clear what options I was looking for and what my budget was. Not only was I showed cars way beyond my price range, I was constantly asked to reconsider the liberty (which I had informed the salesman about 5 times that I was not interested in the liberty). I felt like they were pushy and only out to make a quick buck. The salesman continued to call me every day for about a week which is beyond annoying. I had already told him I was not interested when I had left that day but to continue to call me every day is borderline harassment. I went to another Jeep dealership who was MUCH better and actually LISTENED when I told them what I was looking for. Today I picked up my brand new 2012 Grand Cherokee from them with ALL of the options I was looking for. This dealership is a scam and tries to rip people off More
This dealership was probably the most outstanding and reasonable place to lease my new 2012 Challenger. The gentleman Mr. Stecker, was not only outstanding on his customer service, but understood money o reasonable place to lease my new 2012 Challenger. The gentleman Mr. Stecker, was not only outstanding on his customer service, but understood money out of pocket costs and my monty payment that i wanted. He and the financial advisors worked diligently in getting me a great deal on my challenger. There were no surprises at the end and i was very happy with the outcome. I loved that everything was quick and easy and they were overrall courteous to me. Prior to coming to this dealership i had, had an awful experience with another dodge dealer, which i will never forget. Browns took care of me and took my stress away in finding my dream car. Walked onto the lot knowing what truck we wanted. Gerry greeted us in the parking lot, we were there only about an hour and we said, DEAL! Although I had to wait for 5 weeks for a brake part, the service person (Chris M) could not been more acountable with phone updates.When the part arrived via UPS he gave top prioty to my car. Today’s experience in my opinion epitomizes why I did and would travel from my home in Huntington to purchase a car from Browns in Patchogue. They are great to sell you a car, when it's time to fix you're car, horrible. Work is never done on time. After having 3 problems with my new car, 3 times the issue was not fixed due to the dealership them you're car, horrible. Work is never done on time. No one knows what they are suppose to be doing and blames each other for the problems that happen within the dealership. Everyone needs to be on the same page so their customers aren't running around with questions that should have been answered by the 1st person you spoke to, not the last when the problem is too late to be fixed. After Stopping in at Brown's used car lot with my husband we immediately got the attention from a used salesman (whose name slips my mind) after telling him that we were interested in a used Jeep Liberty he we immediately got the attention from a used salesman (whose name slips my mind) after telling him that we were interested in a used Jeep Liberty he told us that we'd have more options at their dealership down the road, so he jumped into his car and escorted us to that site and introduced us to another salesman (Brendan) to further take care of our needs. This Gentleman went beyond his job duties from the moment we walked into the door until he said goodbye at the dealership..kudos to him for an awesome customer service, however this is where our customer service went down. All though Brendan did a job well down with finding us a jeep we wanted and took us out for a test drive, upon returning we felt very pressured to put $500 down and pick up the Jeep the next day pending our application. Well, they charged our card $500 and we were on our way. The next day we haven't heard anything so my husband decides to call himself to check on the status, after speaking with someone in finance and getting the scoop we decided that we were no longer interested in the vehicle due to the required down payment, he then requested the refund of the $500 and was told that it would take no more than 4 days. We waited 6 and still no refund! So my husband calls them and speaks to a manager who tells him that they would need our card number to process the refund (why wasn't this asked upon the first time of requesting the refund) so he gives him the card number and we have to wait another 4 days..still nothing. I decide to call myself to only find out that my card number was written down on a sticky note on that manager's desk and has NOT been processed yet..are you kidding me?! Why is my private info laying on someones desk?! So after 3 attempts we finally get our money back..what a rip off this dealership is. They seemed to only care about your money, would never go back there or recommend them to any friends or relatives..and I've heard nothing but bad reviews from other customers prior, should have listened to them!
