Had no intention of getting a car. Just went to look at prices. Had been to one dealer and had planned to visit another. I also had planned on using the mother of a friend of mine as my salesperson. Ended up be help by Jermal (Mel) Blanco. Glad I did. Great guy. Friendly and not pushy. Didn't BS me or fast talk me. Asked me my needs and what I was looking to pay. Got me a great deal on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and made me forget I had planned on going to another dealer. Had service department install the trailer hitch on the vehicle and called my insurance company for me. When I went to pick up the vehicle, he even bought girl scout cookies from my daughter. My wife is on her fourth Jeep and I'm pretty sure she will be going to Mel. More

We left there feeling good and not pressured. We were there a total of 5 hours and not once did the salesperson make us feel uncomfortable. He answered all of our questions and gave us "the time of day. " He treated us like a friend rather than a customer. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Thank you for a very nice experience. Yesterday, I picked up a new 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited that Sal DiStefano sold us. This is my 4th Jeep Wrangler, and the 3rd one I purchased at Browns. I made the mistake of buying my 3rd Wrangl Unlimited that Sal DiStefano sold us. This is my 4th Jeep Wrangler, and the 3rd one I purchased at Browns. I made the mistake of buying my 3rd Wrangler at a competitor, simply because it was closer to where we moved, and closer to work. Going to Browns is WORTH the trip to Patchogue even if you do not live nearby. What stood out most about Sal was that he was easy to work with and patient in showing us all of our options. Yesterday when I finalized my paperwork with the bank and picked up my car, Sal's service did NOT end. Most salesman would have moved on because the "sale was closed" and would have just showed you to your car and handed over the keys. Sal jumped in the car and walked me through all of the features and what was new compared to my previous Wrangler and connected my phone to the car. He pointed out features that I did not even know my last Wrangler had, because the other dealership's salesman did not take the time to show me. Overall my experience was EXCELLENT!
