Out-of-State Purchase from New York I purchased a 2012 Chevy Traverse LTZ from Brickell. We live in New York so it was a remote purchase. Diego Ferriera and Josh Gonzalez sold us the c I purchased a 2012 Chevy Traverse LTZ from Brickell. We live in New York so it was a remote purchase. Diego Ferriera and Josh Gonzalez sold us the car. As expected, it would take a while from start to finish (started 1/27/19 and received the car 2/9/19). Due to conditions on the trailer I had to detail the car once received. The transport driver was great. During the beginning of the process Diego and Josh were extremely active with communication however, later parts of the sale process they became much less communicative. They overnighted paperwork to me to sign for the loan and I immediately sent it back. The $500 coupon from the Brickell website did not work on this purchase although there are no specified stipulations on whether you can use it one NEW or USED vehicles. After receiving my first auto loan statement, establishing the online account with the loan company wasn't easy due to the bank being given wrong phone numbers for me and wrong e-mail addresses from the dealer. I had to wait a long time to speak with a rep to validate I was the actual buyer to get this fixed. The detailing of the car before delivery could've been more through as I found used tissues stuffed into the back seats along with the past owner's envelopes of mail. Inside the glove box contained the broken headphones for the DVD player, the owners manual, and some receipts belonging to the past owner with their information still on the receipts. The navigation is inoperable due to the missing Nav Disc that is required for the vehicle to have functional navigation. All of the floor mats except for the 3rd row floor mat was missing. The dealer was able to create a 2nd set of keys for the vehicle with the excess left over from the $995 dealership fee which was much appreciated. I purchased an extended warranty (Red Shield Premier) for $3000 which I'm promised will cover bumper-to-bumper up until 100,000 miles and then will default to drive-train only after 100k miles. The transport fee was very fair at roughly $650 from Miami, FL to Orange County, NY. Overall, the vehicle is in great shape and I so far am satisfied aside from the non-working Navigation and the garbage stuffed in the back seat. Update: 2/14/19 (5 days after delivery)- My wife got stranded with our two year old today. The traverse did not want to start. It would just click. I took a tester to the battery and out of five tests, the voltage regulator failed three times. The battery measured a consistent 12.6 amps to 14.1 amps. I took a jumper box to the battery and the car started. The car is kept in a heated garage. My wife only parked it outside for 1 hour. 2/19/19 (10 days after delivery)- My wife got stranded again this morning. Started the car in our heated garage and went to the school to drop off our daughter. When my wife came out two minutes after parking, the car just clicked instead of the engine turning. I'm currently at Healey Brother's Chevy (large Chevy delaership) in Middletown, NY who tested the battery with their new machine inside & outside of the car. The battery test printout shows the battery is no good and replacement is recommended. I am currently paying $404 to replace the battery in the Traverse I purchased from Brickell two weeks ago. I left a message for Mario Diaz and am awaiting a call back to see if they can do anything for me. ***Side-note: Service Records show that the "electrical system was checked" on 1/29/19 (prior to delivery). Was this an issue that Brickell could've fixed on their buck? More

Wasted Time Due to Misinformation by Dealership Received a letter stating a recall component needed to fix my passenger seat airbag had arrived. I called and confirmed with service department that the part had in fact arrived, made appointment and took the time from work to take my car. The service representative was unsure as too part having arrived, I question why they had had me bring my car, he made a call and told me they did have 2 parts, to leave my car for part to be installed. When I picked up my car that afternoon, I requested some documentation stating the part had been replaced, and was told there was nothing to give me. I was suspicious about events that had transpired, so I contacted my insurance company and asked as to my rights to have some type of documentation about the exchange of my recalled part, and they told me to call and request evidence of change of part for them, I did. Representative told me part had not been changed, because they did not have these in the shop, that it was a confusion, and when he realized I was not happy, he offered a change of oil on them, to make up for inconvenience. More
