To put some context and history here, my car has been serviced by Brandon Hyundai since I bought it in 2012, I even brought it back to them when I lived out of state for any issues when it was minor like simple recalls as I trusted them. Something happened in the oil system around April, guessing on exact date to be completely honest, and it killed the engine. Despite repeated calls to try to find out what was happening no one would return my calls for 2 months until I went into the dealership one day I left work early specifically to go in to get an update. It was at that time I was told it should be done by the end of the week, I went in on a Wednesday I believe, and when it was done no one called me. I stopped by on Saturday to check and they said it was done. My car looked filthy as it had been sitting under the many oak trees that we have here in Brandon and that just added to the severe lack of service I had had in the 2 months my car was there. To add to that, the loaner car they gave me had a temporary, paper, tag on it that expired before the end of the first month they had my car. Due to my work schedule I was unable to come get it replaced but in my mind shouldn't they have placed a dealer tag on the car to begin with? I did try to call, as stated previously multiple times a week going from the service center then up to each level of management and no one called me back. I swore I would never go back. Sadly on my drive home from work on Monday my car showed it was over heating, only 2,000 miles after the engine was replaced, car has a total of just under 80k miles on it now. I had the car towed in after hours and called a head to let them know it was coming. I spoke with Seth and he said he would take care of things once they got the car. He called be back at 730am the next day to say it was already going back to be checked out. He called back around 1245 and let me know it was the thermostat on the engine that went bad and was leaking. I have the extended warranty so I wasn't worried about paying for it. I told him I would be by around 630 to get my car as I had to get my girl friend so I can get her car home as well. He called back at 445 to make sure I was still coming and that everything would be taken care of that night. I picked up the car later that day and he stayed late to make sure I got my car without issues and he also had my car washed for me at no charge, that I'm aware of. He took the time to explain my bill and what was covered by my warranty and what wasn't and was great to work with. I gave him a short story of my experience with the engine replacement and he did confirm that there was a bit of a shake up with management at that time, which I had been told previously, and that should never be the experience again. If everyone worked as hard as Seth did then I would gladly recommend Brandon Hyundai. After speaking to a friend of mine who is a Hyundai certified tech, that if he was in FL my car would have gone to him, why did they replace an engine with 77k miles on and put back on the old thermostat? He stated it was one of the parts that was normal practice for him to replace with new during the engine rebuild. $25 part that just cost me $150. Something I hope management looks into. More

I wish all auto dealers could just do like Saturn did with a simple flat price instead of all the back and forth and gimmicks and bait and switch on prices that show on the websites. Its annoying and taints what should be a positive experience of buying a new car by leaving you wondering what the real cost will be. I do not like the negotiating. I prefer to know in advance what things will actually cost. I can't imagine going to a store and not knowing the price of an item until I got to the cash register and then I'd have to negotiate for a while until a price was agreed upon. Who would shop that way if they had a choice?!?! More

Do NOT Buy Used from Them!!! Can't speak to new cars but avoid this dealer for buying a used car! Bought a used Tucson, negotiated the price, signed the deal/financing and the sal Can't speak to new cars but avoid this dealer for buying a used car! Bought a used Tucson, negotiated the price, signed the deal/financing and the salesman pulled the car up and handed us a SINGLE ignition key! No key fob to remotely unlock the doors and no second key (not that big of a deal). When pressed about the location of the key fob, the salesman said to call back on Monday and he would track it down. Called back on Monday and was told they don't have a key fob (or 2nd key). Because we bought the lifetime warranty we were told to wait 30-days for the warranty to kick in, then contact Hyundai for a new fob. Unacceptable. When I called to complain and ask for a new fob immediately (dealers can make fobs!), I was told it would cost $348! So...they sold us a car without telling us there would be an additional $348 charge to be able to unlock our car like its 2019 and not 1979! Sales manager was aggressive on the phone and was actually holding some of the deals we made to get the car down to an affordable price over our head! "Well, if you hadn't got us to remove the dealer preparation fee, I would have more room to maneuver here." If you do decide to go here, be very aware and make sure you check out everything from the keys to the spare tire to the floor mats because this dealership will not disclose to you during negotiations if anything is missing!! More

It was late and going to take awhile to get my choice from storage lot and my Wife not being with me. The Sales Manager let me drive another Tucson home. for her approval. We returned the next day and finalized the deal. With Tiffany's help and some haggling i think I got a good deal. So fat i am pleased with my Tucson. Tiffany did a great job of showing the features of my Tucson and setting up my radio, etc...I would recommend Brandon Hyundai and Tiffany. More
