Jamir was a condescending rude entitled salesperson, if you can call him that. I purchased my vehicle from afar. Every time I spoke with Jamir, he treated me like he was doing me a favor and acted insulted you can call him that. I purchased my vehicle from afar. Every time I spoke with Jamir, he treated me like he was doing me a favor and acted insulted by every question I asked. He was smug and not easy to work with at all. Several times he said he would call me at a specific time and I had to reach back out to him. At each point he told me how much more important his situation was than calling me because it was his birthday, he had to sleep, there was a hurricane, they were busy at the dealership, etc. He told me he would have the small dent repaired on the back of the vehicle - he did not. He showed me pictures of the good tires, excluding the pictures of the front two tires which had >50% loss of tread. I would hire him for my company just so I could fire him for being a smug jerk. After refusing to work with Jamir any more, I worked with Tyler in finance. He was very helpful until he lied to me about the warranty. When I asked if this warranty was provided through Toyota (vehicle is Sequoia) he said "yes, and you can use it at any Toyota across the country". Ultimately, the paperwork shows it is some generic warranty that requires me to return to Brandon Hyundai in Tampa for warranty work - I live in Alabama and he knows that. I kept it all in until I received the vehicle, finally. I wouldn't work with these people again for a free car. More
The customer service from my service advisor was A1 I really have no complaints there , and I did not have to wait all day for my vehicle . The experience was great and I'm sure if I have any other issue really have no complaints there , and I did not have to wait all day for my vehicle . I had made an appointment on line a couple days prior due to the distance I have to drive to have the service done. I came to have my oil changed and tires rotated. Girls greeted me and asked to wait til to the distance I have to drive to have the service done. I came to have my oil changed and tires rotated. Girls greeted me and asked to wait till service person came over. I gave her my info and she stated she didn’t see the appointment on the schedule. But she would put the order in and have the services done. Ask me to see Alexa at the customer service desk and to get more info from me. Alexa showed me the waiting area. Alexa sent me a text so I could reach her if I had any questions. I did text after a hour but no response. I know she’s busy with others but just a quick acknowledgement would have been great. Later she comes to me and says the tech noticed my wiper blades need replacing at a cost of 50.00. I declined as I do them myself. Alexa notified me the car was ready and ready to check out. Walked to my car and I thought it would be washed but wasn’t. As I read the bill someone noted risk involved so it wasn’t done. I was disappointed when I left. Someone could have asked me about the wash but didn’t As I drove home, this really bothered me. More
Giovanni Benavente was our sales department rep and he was very good. He was always extremely courteous and helpful. He answered all our questions and he spent time with us showing us many of the featur was very good. He was always extremely courteous and helpful. He answered all our questions and he spent time with us showing us many of the features of the 2025 Tucson. My only complaint was the length of time involved with getting thru the paper signing process with the Financial Person. This process needs to be streamlined. The overall and paper signing process took 6 hours which is too long of a day. In addition - we got a paper license and no floor maps and we needed to return to the dealer a few days after the purchase to get both. And exterior sealing on the car was not done and we need to return on Friday November 16 to get this done. Looking forward to getting past these minor issues and enjoying a long great relationship with Brandon Hyundai. More
