I purchased my Honda Accord brand new in 2018. My Honda now has only 65,000 miles on it. The Check Engine light came on, so I towed my car to the Honda dealership in Brandon. The technician Jason My Honda now has only 65,000 miles on it. The Check Engine light came on, so I towed my car to the Honda dealership in Brandon. The technician Jason informed me that it would be $250 to do a diagnosis on my vehicle. Lugo, the service technician determined that my head gaskets were blown and sent me a video. Jason called me and informed me that unfortunately this was the worst case scenario and it would cost $6800 to have my head gaskets replaced. Jason said “ Most people trade in and purchase a new car when this happens”I informed Jason that I could not afford $6800 right now or want to buy a new Accord. Later that night, the sales department called me and texted me trying to sell me a new car. The next day I had my car towed to a family mechanic where they did a thorough diagnostic and determined there was nothing wrong with my head gaskets and all I needed was spark plugs. I called Honda and spoke to the manager Jennifer and told her what happened and she said she would refund my $250 diagnostic fee if I came in and had them look at the car again. I agreed as long as I could watch the process in person. Jennifer had the lead technician do another diagnostic on my car and it was determined that in fact, there wasn’t anything wrong with my head gaskets. So basically Honda tried to steal $6,800 from me. The only thing Jennifer offered me for loss of work, loss of sleep, anxiety, tow trucks was an apology. I am sure This Honda dealership does this all the time. Scares people and to Paying for services they do not need and or purchasing new vehicles. Please be aware! More

During our vehicle purchase with Brandon Honda I had no issues with the sales person, Alex. During negotiations, the manager I worked with (maybe Dominick, not sure on the name) became pretty agitated. I issues with the sales person, Alex. During negotiations, the manager I worked with (maybe Dominick, not sure on the name) became pretty agitated. I didn’t agree that $8,000 in fees on a $26,000 car was a fair amount. We ended up walking out that day in part just to get away from that manager who we didn’t want to continue to deal with. The next day we called Alex to let him know we would like to come by and complete the deal. The paperwork was frustrating. We received next to no help and were pressured to rush and sign through every step of the way. Additionally, both my wife and I wanted to be on the registration to make things easier when I travel for work. No one bothered to ask us through the process and we were told it was too late to change it as we were wrapping up the document signing process. Also, the car was kind of cleaned but not really. I opened the hood and found actual piles of leaves and tree debris. Then we opened the back hatch to find that there was what looked like a birds nest of materials between the body of the vehicle and the plastic trim. This car was supposedly inspected by mechanics before the sell, but I find it hard to believe any mechanic would leave piles of debris in the engine bay. Lastly, we were told that since we have a plate to transfer we should use a temporary plate to get the car home and then to put the plate from our old car on the new one. During this process the finance person cancelled the temporary registration before finding out there was an issue transferring our permanent plate. His solution was to mail us a temporary plate again. That works, but it still left us unable to use our car for two days. Overall, if Brandon Honda didn’t have the exact car my wife was looking for we would have left and not came back. I will not be returning to Brandon Honda for any future business. More
Great customer service helped me out so much with a new tire. Great job..other then that only issue i have is how long have to wait when I have an appt. 2.5 hr to 3 hour wait every time.
