In a couple days, I was at the dealership and after a smooth experience, closed the deal for my wife's car. Easily the best dealership experience and would highly recommend. Braman West Palm Beach Braman Jupiter I found the perfect BMW 228i convertible at WPB! I worked with a salesman over the telephone in early October 2022 after emailing back and forth with him on thei perfect BMW 228i convertible at WPB! I worked with a salesman over the telephone in early October 2022 after emailing back and forth with him on their secure website. Throughout the emailed review process, he and I discussed dents, scratches, tire tread, safety issues and wind screen and the list of items included with the vehicle. The salesman told me he knew the car and it was in fine shape and a great buy. I have been unable to retrieve those emails since the website is secure. Feeling confident that the vehicle was in good condition, I bought it on October 4, 2022, for $28,000, sight unseen, with the agreement that the salesman would have it delivered to Brahman Jupiter for my pickup on or before October 31. That did not happen, so I traveled to your Dealership and took possession of the car. Shortly thereafter, I tried to clean my windshield and nothing happened. I checked the fluid at that time, and it was full. I called the salesman right away, told him the issue, mentioned that I had tried to fill up the fluid and it was already full. The salesman told me that his Service Department was very busy and asked if I would mind going to the Jupiter dealership since it was closer to my home. I was okay with that … I thought Braman was Braman, and the issue would be taken care of at no cost to me and promptly. Little did I know that the salesman had not cleared this through his office, nor had he had any prior conversation with Braman Jupiter, a separate dealership. After all, a clean windshield is a safety issue; the reservoir was full of fluid, didn’t they check to see if it worked? Wasn’t there a “checklist” to ensure that everything was in working order? I was under the impression that all used BMW go thru a rigid checklist to insure the car is safe to operate as well as having everything in working order. Why wouldn’t the salesman take care of the problem rather than neglecting his responsibility and passing it on to a separate, unconnected Dealership without even asking that Dealership ahead of time? These are questions that I hope you can get to the bottom of, as of this date I have not been able to get anyone at this dealership to explain this to me. As it turns out, the professionals at Braman Jupiter were amazingly accommodating. I talked with Corbett Walsh, Service Advisor and to David Craft, his manager; they gave me a rental car for a week at no charge. In the interim, Mr. Walsh left several phone messages and emails for the salesman at Braman West Palm Beach, with no response. Corbett’s team confirmed that the pump was broken. Since all efforts to discuss the situation with the salesman were in vain, I paid the $1,352.41 bill, thanked both David Craft and Corbett Walsh for their professionalism, their commitment to BMW owners’ satisfaction and expectations that all new and used vehicles would be sold in good condition and were properly and safely working and for not bouncing me around in such an unprofessional and rude manner as they had. I will appreciate your refunding me for the service that should have been Braman BMW West Palm Beach’s responsibility in the first place ($1,352.41). I look forward to your check mailed to me at the above address promptly. Should you wish to speak with me directly, I can be reached at the number below. This was theire responce We are advised that the repair was not covered under the BMW manufacturer's warranty. Because the customer had recently purchased the pre-owned vehicle, the dealership tried to make the customer happy, but the customer rejected the dealership's goodwill offer. The dealership's offer remains open. As you can see they didn’t acknowledge that they sent me to another dealership knowing this way they could wash their hands of the whole deal. This was their offer: A check for $250.00 A complimentary full detail An oil change And an additional $500 off the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle here at the dealership. I have rejected this offer I will not let tis go unfinished. More
