Having visited several other dealers looking for an SUV, Gloria Prosper showed me several vehicles that meet my family's needs. There was never any pressure. Glorias knowledge of all of the vehicles I looked at demonstrated how a true professional salesperson is suppossed to work. If anyone is looking for a Dodge, Kia, or Jeep product I strongley reccommend Bonneville & Son, and STRONGLY recommend Gloria Prosper as a sales person. Gloria is a true professional. This was my first new car purchase. Dan was very helpful and worked really hard to get me a great deal and a great financing package. Excellent service. His pressure free approach made a more enjoyable experience. I drove up from Merrimack. Rod is very pleasant and great to deal with! He made me feel at home and listened to what type of vehicle i was looking for and showed me just that. Bonneville was recommended by a friend and my current auto insurance company. The transaction was extremely smooth and fast without any issues. This is the 5th auto that Rodney has helped us buy. He is the best no pressure salesman that we have ever dealt with in 55 years of buying cars. is the best no pressure salesman that we have ever dealt with in 55 years of buying cars. More
We went there to look into a used Toyta Highlander Hybridthat they had apparently taken in on a trade (having read about it online), and on our way to the area for errands. Gloria greeted us at the Hybridthat they had apparently taken in on a trade (having read about it online), and on our way to the area for errands. Gloria greeted us at the door. While she was totally pleasant, and really very nice to work with, it was obvious that she didn't know anything about the vehicle (though she certainly did her best, and tried to answer our questions or to get someone else to). Granted, they are not a Toyota dealership, so we didn't expect her to be an expert on the car, but it was surprising that no one had ever even reviewed teh acr with her to impart basic knowledge about it. When we took the vehicle out for a drive, we felt like we were actually educating her on the vehicle, which was strange, since we had only learned about it from reading online reviews. No one could explain how the EV or ECON modes worked, so we figured it out for ourselves. At one point, while reviewing the touchscreen options, we discovered that the maintenance logs hadn't been updated. According to the vehicle, oil, tire rotation, air filter, and cabin filter were all well overdue for maintenance (something that should have been done before presenting this to potential customers). We also noticed through the digital display that the battery didn't seem to charge for hybrid mode, so there was no way to even get the vehicle to run on the hybrid system (something there wasn't any explaintion of). We decided to run the numbers, and were surprisingly low balled by the sales manager on our 2003 Infinity G35 (Motor Trends 2003 vehicle of the year) trade in value they offered. The sales manager came out to "play the game", and offerred to lower the overall price 500-1000, at which point I grasped onto lowering it 1000 which didn't seem to go over too well. We were told not to worry about anything failing, because the warranty was fully transferrable, and we could also by an extended one from Toyota (which is a lie, as only Toyota Dealers can offer an extended warranty on a used Toyota vehicle). The sales manager was rather swarmy, wasn't interested in discussing any further reduction, and basically just "let us go", with the attitude that we would be back, since he already checked inventory online, and there aren't any others available. Well, guess what? We found the identical vehicle somewhere else, and just bought it (with our same trade in), at $4000 lesss than what the sales manager was insisting on. Of course, the vehicle we found had been properly serviced, and the final price INCLUDED a 5 yr bumper to bumper Toyota Platinum warrany plan. Go figure. Or better yet, if you're looking for a used Toyota, go to Toyota Portsmouth (NH) and ask for Patrick Foggerty. He knows the vehicles he sells inside out, is very laid back (with no high pressured tactics), is courteous and professional, and will help you out. More
I called a sales person to purchase a new vehicle. I was looking for a specific brand/model. I was told they didn't have any on site which was probably true. I was told he would like for one and get back looking for a specific brand/model. I was told they didn't have any on site which was probably true. I was told he would like for one and get back to me. I supplied my name, phone and email address. That was approx. 3 wks. ago. Still waiting.... I thought perhaps a response like...we can't help now but if we find something we will call. I believe in giving good news as well as bad. I was upset and called the Manager....again, still waiting. What does that tell you about sales?????? Apparently they don't need any new customers. On the other hand, I have had my last vehicle serviced there on several occasions nothing to do with the dealership and have had a great experience. They are great, helpful and work with you to resolve your concerns. Nothing to say about them except GREAT! So...buy a car somewhere else and take it there for service! More
