We had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Bonneville and Son. After our Jeep was serviced, we discovered that the windshield had a large crack that was not there when we drop department at Bonneville and Son. After our Jeep was serviced, we discovered that the windshield had a large crack that was not there when we dropped it off. We brought the issue to our service advisor, Tony, and the Service Manager, Bill. They reviewed the dealership’s own check-in photos and confirmed that there was no crack in the windshield when our vehicle was received. Despite acknowledging that the windshield was intact at check-in, they refused to take responsibility for the damage because we didn’t notice and report it before leaving the dealership. As customers, we don’t think that’s a fair way to handle the situation. If the dealership’s own records show the windshield wasn’t cracked when they accepted the vehicle, we believe they should stand behind their work and make things right. We tried to resolve the issue directly with the dealership before leaving this review, but they declined to help. We hope management reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future, because customer service isn’t just about repairing vehicles it’s also about taking responsibility when something goes wrong. More
